Found this handful on a walk with the missus today. Plan on heading back to the spot and spending some more time there hunting properly next weekend, just confirming these are libs first - confident of the two on the left anyway.
Thanks!

All libs? Especially curious about the last two as they don't really have the 'nipple'

An amazing hours picking this morning in my park location. Libs everywhere... I couldn't have picked them all as I only had a small window. Will post up some more pics layer but here's my favourite from today and my haul...bout 130 odd.

Had to wait 5 mins for the bus to drive by...

Cool shot and a special looking specimen. It almost looks a bit like P. mexicana.

The season by me was roughly 4 weeks behind last years and seems to be much more abundant. Some locations easily yielded 500g per visit, Iv'e had to stop walking the dogs in said locations as i cannot walk past a lib without picking it and this meant on some days i was still stooping past midnight lol. Though they look superb in moonlight and really jump out at you, There is some nice photos on this thread keep up the hunt. Dried A.Muscaria and _P.Semilanceata in abundance

^^^^^nice to see everyone else still yielding them in despite that cold snap, if it would of stayed it would of slowed if not stopped em. ...
Ok , ended up doing an all nighter , managed to find new patch nearby..
get out there, temps have restored themselves to normality for this time of year, seasons restoring after lastweeks cold snap, lots of fresh growth popping up too, which means more flush to come n on the way
@East Anglia,norfolk
habitat - large horse pastures , short to medium grass, the rotation of the horses per field allows for grass to grow, as well as fungi,so I guess its timing and luck.. I got caught as well.... the place is trip wired believe it or not.... sends message to the horsy gals phone..... - gulp - her words

some were stupidly huge, never seen so many in such a small patch of the pasture so fucking large, couldn't believe they were libs at first!.. didn't matter where I looked. all sizes all shapes , everywhere!
no pics of habitat unfortunately , had to do this at night.

Well I haven't been as active on this thread as I had hoped this year but here's my seasons pickings atm dried and packed. 173 grams in total. Not too shabby I'd say.

cheers Darrius - was an effort trust, ended up missing last train home, which was blessing in disguise coz an adventure commenced , allowing to explore parts of the locations I hadn't yet with the time I had, but then realizing it was a Sunday morning a no trains ran till 8.30, I had realized this 4 in the morning lol... so biked 10 mile with 3 full containers , I was swaying all over the place , eyes tryna shut etc lol - was worth it in the end - they still in the dehydrator, they were soaked through most of em due to the long ass showers Saturday, not fully dried yet , put them in 7 am this morning shifting the shelves over to get even air flow etc, some more hours they be good to jar up ..
tojosan, nice one , make em last....
serous lib weather right now people , so get your thermal boots on, water proof trousers, ya phone, jack Daniels , hashish and a bottle of water, food, - you'll be laughing all the way to liberal city

Hi guys,
First pick on a glorious wet day in South England. This is my first time and I'm interested to identify these. Sorry for the poor quality photos, I just realised I should have left the stems on. For me, all but three of these looks like Liberty Caps. I'm especially interested in the large one as originally I thought it was too big to be a Lib but since it dried white and had a nice dark spore print, I'm thinking maybe it is a Liberty Cap after all.
Found in a field where horses graze. There was short - medium grass, these were found on the edge of the field.
This big one on the right in picture 1 and 2, is that a LC?
Picture 5 : I'm fairy sure these two on their own aren't LC : The one circled in the photo I think isn't a LC, it was a different colour and texture when wet:
Another photo of the big one I'm unsure about (same as picture 1 and 2):

^^ did isis get hold of those? their caps been chopped off, about the size, I was shocked further more so last night bout how big they can actually get. ....
98 %libs tho,and a peter pan , you'll soon tell what ones are not by how it dries by comparison Mr Garrison
Cheshire ranger - coz due to a very hot September.....
libertycaps when wet are just like lil slugs, they feel like em, same type of light slime, I'm sure they related lol,

fecking hell psy some impressive specimens you've got there! and that's reasuring that you got them as well I'm going to take a trip back out to the spot I go to tomorrow because it's been like a week and a half since I last wen't and I got around 180 that visit and 260+ the previous visit.
I around a similar area to you so they should still be fruiting hopefully but it's worth a look that's for sure, I thought that the sharp frost that we had about a week or so ago was gonna stop them but by 10 o'clock the frost was gone and we haven't had one since.
Wish me luck & I've got my fingers crossed for everyone else!

good luck! - I'm actually excited for you as I know you will haul in. fucking thrilling, everything about it , more so the hunt, everyone needs alil natural adventure in their lives like child again, magic.
yeah 2bh, collected from 5 locations all within mile radius and same types of habitwats. many horsy lovers, didn't get the chance to finish on one tho as I got caught - just as I was filling up, went from one extreme to the other, shes was ok about it, but had to be on me way.. I was happy tho, will return 3-5 days to see consistency n may leave that one out for now.
