I don't dig on people ever, well I try not to, but glad you're OK.

Every day trying to function in this society is a nightmare. I could probably function, but then I wouldn't have as much fun or be sane anymore. Between working, starting a family, owning a house, taking care of pets, cleaning, shopping, cooking, exercising, sleeping... do people have slaves? how the hell do they do all this? I think i'd rather be in prison than living like that.

Then don't live like that, you usually do have a choice.
Work can be minimized (if you're willing to have a lot less money, or live in a van) Kids, pets and houses are optional Clean as you go, detail every other week
there's a price to pay in any case, personally I opt for having more time, less obligations and less money. The downsides are large, so are the upsides. Saving up for a van and I intend on living out of it, out in nature where I prefer to be anyways, it also means less overhead and thus less time spent working. Can work for myself in a few ways, none of it requires a diploma, each way pays well.
You're not forced to adopt the 9-5 lifestyle, at least not in America or Europe.

Stay safe OP. Never pegged you for an opiate user, but it can happen to anyone. Hope you can get back on your feet and get yourself the fuck outta the UK soon

You're in good company here. I suspect most of those +1's are from people in similar situations.
Hell I might be moving back in with my parents in the winter, because this city sucks ass in the winter and I won't have much masonry work to pay the bills.
I thought you were off the opiates though?

Sorry I don't conform to your expectations
Sorry about your bad times and great you can fall bAck on your mother.
I greatly endorse what you do here, just throw it in the open and trolls be damned
Thats how we defeat the crap in the Pub, we outgrow it.
I'm glad you're still around, this place needs a counterbalance for the bullshit.
Nice1, the pain and suffering you go through make you a pretty cool guy. Most people here I don't give a fuck about but I always look forward to reading what you have to say. You have compassion, which is rare these days.
Rest up man, and remind yourself that pain is transitory. Then remind me of that. Because right now things aren't easy for me.

I can vouch for that. I've been through 12+ months of the most extraordinary pain I've ever known. More than in the 12+ years before.
I'm just coming out the other side, and I feel like a new man. Nothing could ever be more worth it from where I stand now.

Relevant question. OP your mom a milf or what?
Thirded. I am also curious about the milk factor of said mom.

What? You wondering if OP is still breast feeding!
Good to see your ole mum is looking after you nice one.
Are you going to treat this as a wake-up call, or just an indicator of dosage? I hope it's the former. Good luck nice one.
