Is putting it outside the only move?
I'd let it colonize as much as nature will allow it, then when it stalls on the bacterial zones you can birth them and scrape the margins with a sterilized spoon or knife, wash well and dunk 8 hrs. In my early cake grows after i had cleaned the zones out well, the myc recovers after the dunk and fuzzes up around the cleaned areas. Once that happens you can break it in bits and spawn to past'd coco/verm trays indoors or in coco/verm bed outdoors. I've always been able to get fruits from otherwise gone cakes, if theres white myc, there a way to do it right
this works with bac contams, but in the future if it's mold it needs to be tossed to prevent spore explosion in your grow area

Is coco the only option? Would the good myc fruit any other ways? Arent they just small cakes, but still cakes all the same?
I ask because I already have a set up I was planning to use. Though, learning new stuff is always fun too.

Yes they will fruit as is, though the shape won't be very regular

I don't really see much good myc.. Where is this good myc? Last 2 pics maybe, but the last one has obvious mold growing in the uncolonized area.

Well, ya...I was considering a word other than good. I just meant the existing myc. At this point I think my options are the trash or a figurative lottery ticket.
Is there a reason NOT to try to fruit?

Dude I said bury it outside lol.

Those were covered in cobweb and trich. Fruited outside in a zone 2 climate with nights going down to high 30s low 40s. Rh was constantly under 15%.

Yes you did
So, theres a nice area where other, non active shrooms grow very well. Is that a good place or do they own the area?

Give it a shot. You got nothing to lose also definitely make your own from scratch. It's actually really easy.
Mushroomvideos.com is another great resource.
