It needs some changes to it. I haaaaate the fact you cant battle wild pokemon. That should be the main feature of the damn game... I agree it is prettty bland at the moment. But im still gonna try it some more.
Another complaint i have is that the game is pay to win. You wanna be a fuckstick and not even actually put effort into the game but still smash all the real players out? Just buy 1000 incense and you can just farm pokemon for hours on end and you will have a huge advantage over the players who arent paying.

My local dog park is one of the stops in the game. I took my dog earlier (take him every other day). I noticed there was nobody inside the dog park, and no dogs. But there were several cars parked in the parking lot (I saw 6 or 7 come and go while I was there for 30 minutes).
People are absolutely insane.

They should let you fight and trade with your friends, but only if you're physically near each other. That way would encourage people to actually hang out together and see each other more.
Also I still think you should have to battle the pokemon before catching them. I mean that was like half the fun!

I agree there should be a way to versus your buddies with your pokemon. Who cares about gyms... I wanna battle my best vs. your best.

Typically i agree, but i love the fact that because it is fucking EVERYONE has it. It's so awesome walking up to a spot and seeing a bunch of people already there with a common interest just shooting the shit and playing pokemon.
Funny thing, the other night like 30 random people were playing in the same spot. One guy points at a car down the street "yeah those guys took over x gym"
20 minutes later everyone says "oh shit what's happening at x gym? Oh shit team blue took over his gym" before i could look up at the phone i hear these tires several blocks away (kids in the car moved to another stop before the takeover) start peeling lut really fucking loud and he flies over in the direction of that gym.
But yeah fuck freemium games (pay to win) it's such a scummy model, but in the case of this game it's awesome enough the content you get for free and as of the moment it's relatively balanced in my hometown.
What i would like to see is being able to release pokemon into the wild and other players within 50 or so meters would see them running around. Imagine a swarm of 20 rattatas just popping out of someone's ass.
