CEVs and The Network of Everything
    #23425993 - 07/09/16 09:30 AM (7 years, 6 months ago)

Been reading some big words every now and then when reading trip reports and I experienced something yesterday that made me grasp one of those concepts, a little. The fabric of space/time, and seeing how everything is connected. Was wondering if people had an experience similar to the below or have an explanation. Maybe it doesn't make any sense really, but it's just what I made out of it.

So every time I eat shrooms, the closed eye visuals more or less are within a certain realm. It's what seems like a fluid world of shapes and color, with a certain rhythm, as if it were alive. These visuals were only limited to abstract/random shapes colors, but yesterday I saw that there's more to them. The spaces between the lines and the shapes formed a river, an actual river, and I could see how this fluid world is kind of the actual space that occupies everything out of which the physical world we know merges/manifests. Does anyone else think so? Are we experiencing a bigger force/entity when we trip, making these close eyed visuals more than just visuals?

also, on a related but different note, I sometimes see these images of real life somewhere, but it's in a different world or a different time. I play no role in imagining these, they just pop up. Any theories as to what these may be?

--------------------
For years on end I have been sitting here,
impatiently awaiting potency: some explosive revelatory surge
that will carry me away and permit no looking back.
But this moment of deliverance has not arrived,
and I have done nothing to hasten it.
Perhaps it doesn’t matter.
Perhaps I wasn’t meant to do anything.
In which case, I have succeeded admirably.

IME visuals are just visuals.  Although I enjoy the CEVs it's OEVs that I really like.  Fabric of space-time and the like is more of a dimensional feeling, not a visual feeling.  For me anyway.

Wait until you throw a super massive black hole into the mix. If we're all connected then we have to be connected to something at the end, which is a super massive black hole at the center of our galaxy. Things get interesting then. Throw in Dark Matter and you got your work cut out for you.

Well it's either your subconscious doing it without you knowing. My theory is the brain involuntarily (not unconsciously but more like a glitch) does it with the way shrooms interconnect the brain. Those parts of the brain almost never talk to each other and it causes isolated symptoms like that. Same thing happens in our dreams.

Since there isn't any light coming in thru your eyes couldn't be seeing any colors or images at all. But when we think or dream our minds eye assembles new images out of pieces of information we have seen in the past

I think the CEVs are some sort simplification or break down of  thoughts

Or maybe the visualization of some other information we are receiving that we dont quite understand yet.

Psychedelics allow us to dream while we are awake, among other things. Ive always thought that was the primary mechanism of the visuals and the strange mental stuff.

Further, OP, Ive always thought of everything as some form of fluid or liquid - a massive ocean from which all things are mere waves. When we trip, we are able to see beyond the invisible lines our conscious minds draws...lines which interfere with our ability to gaze directly into that ocean. Psychedelics give us a vantage point from which we can see and feel and generally experience first hand that ocean - that "something bigger", that "it all". And all this happens while our consciousness is switched on so we can process the experience and later integrate it into "ourselves".

I believe this means we literally do experience the divine (or whatever you want to call it), though I dont believe we are any more able to truly understand what the "divine" or the "it all" really is. Its totality is beyond our capacity for understanding, which is what makes it all so astonishing.

Also, its not that we travel some place else. Its that the somewhere else we think we go already is - and in fact is the more fundamental reality. Its just that in our every day life, we are tuned to a specific frequency that filters out most of the signal from that Ultimate Reality.

The closed eye visuals on shrooms can feeling can be very swimmy and liquidy so you're onto something. Cnidarian almost sometimes...

They do seem more alive than other psychedelics too and almost chattery/humorous. It could be like a remote viewing experience but an interdimensional one.

Sometimes on psilocybin (with eyes open) I will enter this place that seems like the epicenter of what I like to call the organic dream matrix. It's just like.....the epicenter...where dreams are made or some shit. But it's like the matrix and it's reminding me there's bigger things at work and we're a small part of it.

I highly doubt that.

with each dmt hit, my eyes get wider and wider. Its as dmt literally opens the eyes

I've always thought CEV's were like the database or network of everything. It looks like the patterns all work together and function as one but each has a unique role. I've also interpreted it as the coding of my brain being shown to me. Mostly I feel s if my brain is plugged into the ground and i'm getting a download from earth.

I've seen some crazy shit. Some of the most profound have included patterns like these.
