Assuming he hasn't already told his buddies. But tripdawg is right, the name of this game is to tell as little people as possible. This shit isn't a joke and can get people in a lot of trouble, the more people the know the worse it is for you.
That being said, you question is confusing to me. You asked if you should "harvest and dunk"
Are your cakes:
1. fruiting, have mushrooms on them and you want to know if you should pick them and then dunk for the second flush
or
2. Still in jars and you are asking if you should birth and dunk to get them started

I keep my hobby very discrete, but some of my friends know about it. My cakes are currently fruiting, except one, which was dunked today and still is. The mushrooms will most likely be ready for harvest, before I'm leaving.
Thanks

To clarify my question: I would like some suggestions, as to how I leave my mushrooms, without killing them :p could they be dunked for 3 days or will they take damage from this? If they do, I can get my friend to mist them, once daily. What's best?

Post some pics man. Better if we see the stage of growth, compared to when exactly you'll be leaving them

You can pic the one in the first picture tonight or tomorrow morning, and the cluster in the second pic is looking fine just needs a couple days. Would be a shame if it got picked now. When do you leave?

No! Do not dunk your cakes for 72 hours! They'd be water logged as hell. Pick that big mushroom, give it a heavy misting, wet your perlite and leave them.
