Two infestations in my fruiting chamber
    #23423540 - 07/08/16 12:58 PM (7 years, 6 months ago)

I have two infestations in my fruiting chamber.

One is a black slime that is on the mushrooms when I harvest them.  I'm able to wash it off.  Are they safe to consume?  Should I toss the ones I've already harvested from this batch?

I noticed this on one of my cakes this morning and threw the cake away.  I didn't see it when I birthed the cakes.  The rest of the cakes look ok.  Should I throw out the whole batch?

Thanks!

Carolyn

That black shit is spores. The white shit is mycelium. The green shit is trich, and good job tossing it. No the other cakes shouldn't be effected.

Also this is my 8000th post o.o damn I have no life
