Ever since I was a youngster, drugs are always carried down your pants, wear some tight underwear and put them down by your taint, simple no bust procedure...

Yes sir. I hope he helps. I'm in the middle of a very serious case right now myself and it's great to bounce ideas and strategy off him. He's a good guy and has helped a lot of folks.

I've a whole bunch of friends that have served time, and they all say this. I've been very close but narrowly escaped and whilst it would be a shit to have ones freedom removed, I'm sure that I'd get on fine in there. About half my friends are old school gangsters anyway; as long as you're good with people you'll cruise it. And that's even if it happens - we're talking worst case scenario here.
Plus, this (I would've saved myself a bust if I did this):

I can't believe this happened to me. I am most likely going to prison. My family is heartbroken. I let them down big time. I have three kids and a fiance.
They siezed my van, 1000 dollars in cash, and my cellphone.
Each felony carries a charge of four years. The misdemeanor one year.
If anybody can give me advice or help me in anyway it would be greatly appreciated.

With a public defender I managed to plea to about 6 months of house arrest. Upon completion my charge was reduced to a misdemeanor. Since then, I've had it erased from my record.
I'm not trying to give you any false hope, here, as our situations are/were different. But I also got into a bunch of trouble as a kid. From all of my experience dealing with the law, I've noticed that in every case (of mine) I've gotten my charges reduced WITHOUT a good lawyer...because I'm poor af.
I'm not saying dont get a lawyer. I'm trying to say that if public defenders can be that useful for me, I can imagine a real deal lawyer would be way, way, way better.
Further, I have a couple of friends in prison. I've written back and forth to both of them and they've both told me its not as bad as people think it is. Although, I'm afraid I cant offer any consolidation for what I expect is your real fear - leaving your family hanging (please forgive me wording like that...). I once spent about a week in jail (for the 3-8 thing) and I never felt like I was in danger even once. The real pain was my regret...my family...that stuff...
I sincerely wish you the best, man. If worse comes to worse and you actually do some years, know there is another side. Theres a time you'll be out and there may be a TON of life for you to live.
Also, I may very well get flamed for this...but from a father to a father, if you have to roll on the guy you got your shit from to stay home with your kiddos, fucking do it. Fuck everyone but them. Fuck pride. Fuck honor. Fuck any code of the streets bullshit...

You are one of the worst kind of people. I hope for your friends' sake that you never get busted.

Yeah that's a fucking POS attitute man. Why should anyone else have to suffer cause you fucked up?
Snitches are the worst kind of people IMO. Like saving your own skin is any just cause to fuck up someone else's life. Fuck that dishonourable, scumbag behaviour. It's not about some 'code of the streets' bullshit. It's about being a fucking decent human being.

Your story is too sparse to make any judgement. What was the cops reason for pulling you over? Do you dress like a druggie? How does your van look? I mean if what you say is true You've already posted enough info in this thread for any cop to know exactly who you are, might as well share some more detail.

None of us can really help you OP like a good lawyer can. I hope your phone was locked and you don't have links to your profile here or evidence of deals in texts easily accessible.
It might be unlikely that it would come up, but I would refrain from incriminating yourself here as much as possible. Might want to edit your posts in this thread so as not to incriminate yourself, and don't feel like you need to give details people are just curious, they can't really help as every case is different and depends highly on the prosecutors/judge/current political climate in the court system. That's just my opinion maybe I am too paranoid.

Yeah thats fucked. If you are just going to roll then dont do illegal things in the first place. That will keep you home with your kids too.
What made you think that saying that on a forum full of drug users would be even a little bit ok? You are a scumbag buddy and if i had a drug forum like this i would ban snitches. I dont care if this is the pub you are straight SCUM for suggesting that fathers (who agreed to commit illegal acts knowing that there are consequences.) should "snitch for their kids"

Why are you on this site again?
So the lesson for your kids here would be to be a fucking coward, teach your kids to let other people pay for your mistakes? I mean if you fuck with drugs, there's a good chance you will run into problems with the law along the way, at least if you do it long enough.

I agree 100%. Either way nothing but good can come from this OP. Only if you want it to anyways.

I agree with what you guys are saying to FerrisBueller, even as someone who took a legal hit to protect a father (& I have no regrets). My term was commuted to probation that is over in 13 days. It has been a long couple years, but I learned A LOT, and am grateful for all I've been through. At this point I am a father myself & I can't say I'd look down on someone who rolled, but it's not a choice I'd make myself. These days, I just wouldn't do the shit that might see me hemmed up like that in the first place. But in OP's case, the die is cast; I hope he just sees if fall where it may. But it's always easy to say how you'd react when it's not you in the hot seat.

Incase no one is going to say this: someone should probably inform the other shroomerite what happened. I dont know the full story, but if they pulled you over and knew you had drugs already, that shroomerite could be under surveillance by the local LEO.
Could be a complete coincidence. You could look like a druggie and he could smell your fear, but its still possible the other shroomerite ties into this situation.

Imagine how shitty this world would be if everybody was a snitch. What really sucks is that there are unjust laws created to oppress drug users who want to choose their own drugs, or make a living off drugs that will exist no matter what, but snitches make it that much worse.

US is too dedicated to creating profit out of thin air by arresting drug users. Sure, some other countries are worse but it shouldn't be that way. Not to mention, everytime someone is arrested, they're basically a martyr to fund the murder of innocent people in countries we invaded for no reason. Well, some of your money goes to fund the wars and shit, the rest probably goes into the pockets of fatass pathetic fucks that have no other way to make money besides arresting drug users for no reason.
