Which ones of you own a Sword? 2

It might be a very oldfashioned concept, but I feel every man of honor should own a sword, oir at least have a weapon of choice for defense of his homestead.
My weapon of choice is a symbolic one, a real Japanese Wakizashi short sword made by Hanwei Forge. I don't intend to defend my home with it but I bloody well will if I have to.
Its about 2 foot long, a pound and a half in weight (weighs as much as a 1" steel pipe its length) and I keep it well oiled and razor sharp.
I chose the wakizashi because its truly me, I feel.

My spiritual weapon of choice, my Athame, is a Nowill & Sons Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife. The knife designed to kill Nazis in close quarters combat inj World War 2, the only knife that has a NATO Catalog Number, still in use with special forces, a knife literally deigned to drive through the heart of the Satan of its time. Of course it for me only serves a symbolic purpose, on my altar.

Post your sword, or weapon of choice, even if you do not yet own one but truly want one.

Its not very selective though. Letting everything in a hundred mile radius catch fire spontaneously isnt exactly a precision weapon for getting your mark though.
The Barrett 50 caliber sniper rifle is however, completely turns someone inside out at a thousand yards:

If your target is an entire city, it's one of the most accurate weapons ever used. Has a 100% accuracy record in non training scenarios.

I liked edged weapons, and have a small collection of them, but not anything really cool, just EDC knives.
As far as which ones I want, well that could be hard to pin point because there are so many. I really want to start a collection of WWI & WWII bayonets, that would be cool.
Hitlerjugend or Schutzstaffel knives would be nice, or perhaps something from the Empire of Japan.

No, although I have practised with it, it's just an ornament really. Plus it would come in handy in an emergency.

Hanwei Forge, a great choice my fellow man-at-arms.
I chose the Practical Plus Wakizashi but budget permitting I might update to the Wind And Thunder Waki.

NO NO NO NO NO.
The Hitler Jugend Knife is the knife of evil! It is the knife with which the Nazis seduced the german boys to join the evil empire, they are the candy or the puppies of the sex offender, the lure a predator uses to trick children to go the wrong way.
Do NOT make a Hitler Jugend knife your knife of honor, because it is false honor and misaligned pride.
The opposite of the HJ Knife is the Fairbairn Sykes Fighting Knife I posted earlier, the dagger of Angels, not the dagger of Devils.

You are welcome, and I mean it. A nifty sword like that will only serve you as well as much as you practice with it and it would be a shame if you should ever have to use it and not have it as an extension of your body.
Self defense is an inherent and important right. I fully agree.

I own several swords. Most of them fully sharpened combat ready swords. Although I do have a handful of wall hangers from my earlier days.
One of my favorites is an antique English arming sword. Likely just a decorative piece even in its day, since the blade is quite thin. But even with the corrosion the details on it are still gorgeous.
I plan on getting more as soon as budget allows. Next on my list is a good quality viking sword.

Take good care of it. A man's sword is his honor.
