Very bad idea, yes.
Making LC with spores is also a very bad idea, because it only takes a single Colony Forming Unit of bacteria for the whole LC to be ruined in a week. LC may sound attractive due to being faster but if you're trying to stretch your spores out and inoculate lots of things you're looking for agar, not LC. LC should really only be inoculated with clean agar if you want any kind of consistent success. LC is also not really faster than agar, if both are done correctly.
->Make Liquid inoculate and have full colonization in a week or so. Spores -> Agar -> -> Use agar to inoculate LC, wait a week for LC -> Now test the LC on agar, wait 2-3 days -> NOW inoculate your grain, wait a week.

Then that is what I shall do. I originally started with a ms and use 9ml to make 9 jars and the last ml to make lc with Karo corn syrup I believe it was. It had good growth but maybe not good enough. Since then I've just been doing g2g and it's been working until I exhausted my supply and was relying on some jars that became contaminated. I'll find a good agar TEK and try and isolate or clone my best fruit. Hopefully that will make things easier and take some of the chance out of it. Just ate 3 mushrooms from my 1st harvest! Very proud moment, not sure how much I'll need so I'm taking it slow lol.

Is this contamination? Noticed it while harvesting?

I would probably bury it somewhere where it doesn't get too dry. And water it daily.
No reason to spread those spores. Especially if you plan on using that room or that monotub ever again for growing mushrooms
I bet you'll see some more shrooms that way.

Think I should case it with damp verm or something? Or just straight bury it in the topsoil as one big block? I have horse manure as well. I have another tub coming right behind it, was expecting more then 1 flush though. Guess I can't expect too much doing this hobby in a dirty basement.

If you cased it it would help it retain moisture better verm or poo would work well for that.
But just burying it would work too
I'm guessing it was the spawn to begin with and not the basement.
Once you spawn to bulk thousands of enemy spores enter the sub, but it doesn't matter as long as your spawn is totally clean and healthy.
