Tree identification from st. Thomas island
    #23419616 - 07/07/16 09:24 AM (7 years, 6 months ago)

I spotted this tree while on vacation.  I may or may not have brought a few seeds back.

Any ideas?

Ok, first I am going to be blunt.  I am not entirely sure that picture is enough to ID it.  I mean I am sure you are hoping we say something in the genus mimosa, but I am just going to say albizia julibrissin cause that's the usual one people find.

Something from the locust family maybe, Gleditsia triacanthos as a shot in the dark.

Check out the genus Albizia
Kind of a shot in the dark but search the subfamily Mimosoideae and have a look at some of the trees/shrubs. They all look alot alike lol
