I was just playing Ocarina of time and then I decided to download zoombinis (can't figure that one out for the life of me) when I finally gave up with zoombinis I tried zelda again and now it keeps making me redownload project 64... I don't know what to do

Backup your save file. Uninstall the emulator. Remove zoombinis and reinstall the emulator. If this doesn't work Delete zoombinis, uninstall the emulator and run ccleaner. Back up your registry files and run ccleaner registry.
If none of those options work head to this site and post on the forum

The registry is a database in Windows that contains important information about system hardware, installed programs and settings, and profiles of each of the user accounts on your computer. Windows continually refers to the information in the registry.
You must back them up because even though ccleaner removes orphans it sometimes will remove extremely important registry files.
I should have asked this earlier but are you playing on a mobile device or a computer?

ROM data files are a bitch, are you sure you have the complete folder of project 64 saved? I always keep mine on my desktop or pinned to my taskbar.
