More camping talk, and less man-crush and crappy actor talk would be great.
You would rather go camping with Orlando Bloom then?

I wouldn't go camping with Depp.
I would go camping with Bloom because he is a forest elf.

Toilet paper is a good suggestion. Keep it in a large (freezer size) zip lock bag.

If you use leaves to wipe with, if possible use green leaves off a tree, not a ground plant.

But most state parks will have some sort of facilities to poop at.

some boxes of kraft mac and cheese if you have a camp stove...mac and cheese has saved my day more than once for food.. you don't need to add butter and milk to it like the directions say, just a little water. Also, having a little coleman camp stove opens up so many more possibilities. A propane lantern is another good thing to have...they light up a whole campsite.

As far as the camping requirements go...like others have said...
1) a good tent
2) good sleeping bags and an air mattress (double size) along with the car lighter powered air pump.
3) rope....a good 100 feet of clothesline rope is usually good for making clotheslines and other necessities
4) a good multi use knife
5) hatchet w/ hammer head on other side of head
6) butane lighters
7) extra clothes and especially socks for wet conditions
8)flashlight
9) clothespins....have many uses
10) rain gear
11) baby wipes...great for the jiffy johns
12 sanitary gel for washing hands without water
13) A jug for water...(one with a spigot is preferred)

I'm sure other stuff but I can't think off of the top of my head.

That's just what they called it at those places since their inception. Sweet stew knowledge though.

Do you know anything about button soup or stone soup CookieCrumbs? Let me know.

I had a friends mom make me button soup before. She was from some latin american country and gave me a bowl of scalding hot soup and kept asking if I didn't like it because I was eating it so slowly

But seriously I had hobo stew once when I was camping with some boyscouts and they actually put it in water. Maybe they did it wrong, from a similar train of thought.

I will definitely have to try Acaterpillar's ashcakes one day though. That sounds pretty fucking dank

If where ever your going you can still get internet from your service provider/cell phone it would be bad ass you buy a android box/ stick. Install Exodus in Kodi media center or get it Cartoon HD. You can even stream live TV threw Kodi add on's with something like cloud tv.

In particular this device would work wonderful for this -there or also others out there- (at night time after yer camp fire or during):

Doogee Smart Cube P1

Then you just need a tarp or canvas for a screen to project it onto.

Also do not forget you can plug a charging/power brick into it to extend the battery life.

Also don't forget to stay at home if you do that because that isn't camping.
