Anyone on here playing Black Desert Online?
I just bought the explorer pack yesterday and am trying to get a group together or join one to play this enormous game with.

There was a thread about this a few weeks ago. Check the next couple of pages.
BTW how is the game? Im waiting for someone who has played a lot of MMO's that can give a reasonable review.

The game is fantastic imho. It is the most in depth MMO i have ever got myself into.
Overall gameplay is seamless and starts off pretty fast with a tutorial that shows you mostly everything to do with questing and combat. After that you're on your own and free to explore and collect resources and hire workers and grind for levels. I feel like the mobs could be better but there is so much to the game that currently, the easy mobs are not bothering me. The economy system, the amount of players, and the sheer size of the game is the reason I will continue to play this for probably the next two years (off and on).
There's huge node wars now based upon guilds fighting for certain locations in the game. Owning a node gives you a bunch of resources for your guild and allows you recieve a tax from players who trade at your node.
Other than that there's about a million things to do in the game and million things to craft and trade. The game has no level cap so there's legit no endgame at all. If you decide to play, definitely let me know and I'll get you set up with some gear and silver

Im downloading the client now. I found a private server that allows for people to play without buying or subscribing.

Sounds chillin, I always loved Pservers cause they're usually tweaked to make the game more enjoyable.
I honestly stopped playing after two weeks due to the fact that school started up and my life picked up a little. Haven't had any time to sit down and grind like I used to but this game is alllll that. If you're into hard work in video games(not many are) then this is for you.
Take advantage of the workers and make sure you upgrade your gear because all armor can be worn by any class so there's no sense in upgrading tons of different sets just max out one.
If you figure out that pserver and it's good i'd be down to rage BDO witchu, let me know how that works out guy.

The program used to launch the game sucks. Constant issues with it. But when it works i get to play the game. I sunk about 8 hours into it already and id have to say this game has all the best elements of nearly every mmo rpg. The quest tracker and auto run makes this game so much more enjoyable because i can walk away from my keyboard for a minute or two and know ill be where i sent my character. There is an enormous amount of info to learn. Im debating whether i should continue or not due to the fact i will probably buy this game.
