[ID REQUEST] Little brown mushroom found in field, Black spore print, but looks odd. [UK]
    #23412856 - 07/05/16 07:28 AM (7 years, 6 months ago)

So I was out hunting in a field last night and came across a family of LBM's, the cap struck me as different considering it's more creamy beige consistency, and the older looking mushrooms had vertical linings on the stem similar to cinctulus, so I brought it home for examination, spore print came back jet black as seen, is this just an odd looking subb, or is this a more interesting find like Panaeolus olivaceus, considering they are kind of in season. I'd love an identifier to tell me what these are! thank you for your time. P.S if their is any certain pictures you request just let me know i'll provide them ASAP

Habitat:
Field that previously had cows earlier in the year

Gills:
grey, attached, gills, etc.

Stem:
6cm, slightly whiter than pann subbs, tanning red at the bottom of the stem specifically

Cap:
quite a consistent creamy brown color, the older mushies appear to have a dark color belt around the cap

Spore print color:
Black

Bruising:
don't see any bruising

Other information:
the cap was suprisingly sticky when moist.

Protostropharia semiglobata is likely.

Second spore print picture clearly shows purple tones, the overall viscid appearance and your
description of the sticky caps all support my suggestion.
