Growing up I always had a fascination for the IRA and the whole struggle of the Troubles, the riots, the epic murals, I never was on the side of the violence but the whole people's rebellion thing played the heartstrings of my teenaged sense of anarchy.
It had something romantic, the people standing up against an oppressive government. Y'all know what I mean..

(I deliberately used a mix of murals to not take any particular side in this, to respect all sides equally)

I'm just wondering is anyone else agrees with this because I'm not sure if loads of people agree with this but by some it looks of some communities it seems like a lot of Irish people agree with bombings against civilians. I'm not saying all but surprisingly there's a significant proportion that supports the bombings.
If by terrorism you mean the removal of an unwanted invasive people, then yes, he supports terrorism. There are no civilians when it comes to the IRA and Northern Ireland. They were a people that was sent in to colonize and upset the Catholic majority. If they start going over to Britain and doing bombings against British civilians, that would be fucked up.
By the way, I'm Irish, and raised Catholic, so you probably won't get an unbiased view from me.
Gotta say, the pub has been straight up unshroomy lately.

There were bombings in England, against civilian targets.
Colonial civilians are still civilians, if you need to press them there are better ways than immediately resorting to violence. Such as targeting their police force, supporting military forces, and supply chains. Actually attacking civilians without violent provocation is unjustifiable. This is common sense as far as I'm concerned.
I have similar reasons to be biased against England and find the idea silly, its just politics.

The UK would probably accept a vote if they just voted out of the UK... why don't they do that...?

Ireland and Scotland would be in a much better position if these rebellions had ended times past.
There comes a time to cut your losses, many people realize that and that's why they won't vote out.

I live in the USA so I have no horse in the race, but I feel like if America could write its constitution and pull out of the UK's empire, then NI should be able to do the same thing if they want to. But killing innocent people kinda sucks for their cause.

The thing is most people in Northern Ireland want to stay in the UK. They recognize themselves more as British than Irish basically.

I'm well aware. The Real IRA is garbage. They supposedly have around 300 members, and the vast majority of people in the six counties don't want to leave the UK, so their cause is pretty hopeless even if they actually had the manpower to do anything besides sporadic assassinations.
