Well, first off let me say HEY! Glad to come across this place as I have some important questions.

Ok, I am growing or trying to grow P.C. equador and so far, after using instructions from Pscylocibe Fanaticus? I have managed to have 5 out 6 half pints fully colonized and in my nice big rubbermaid square tub with an ultrasonic and a 2 gallon bottle, drip shield and 1/4" wire mesh etc. One cake has 3 pins that have changed color and are about 1/4"long x 3/16 wide. They look fine but whats the deal with the others? 1 of the cakes has been in for 8 days. And has no visible pins, but they all are kinda fuzzy. Meaning they are covered in what looks like snow. I know it's mycelium but why is it taking so long to get pins? 2 of them have what looks like a couple pins..ie color and looks, but has a bit of fuzz growing on top of them. I beleive my Humidity is at about 95-98% but at 69 degrees. Do I need to warm it up and dry it out a little? Please help as I don't want this crop to go to waste.

if the fuzz is white it's ok... it's due to to much humidity...if it's grey it's cobweb mold... a hydrogen perixide mist will take care of it... check out the contamination forum...

I just clicked on your avatar:P) That is one of the best fucking signs I have ever seen!! Is it a real sign or a joke? My closest one was a picture my father and I took over on the Oregon Coast that stated the beach was a high crime area and the police couldn't guarantee the safety of any of the vehicles parked there? What the hell? Anyway, love the picture.
