Dude I will argue all day that a dog and a cat BOTH beg for food hardcore, all my lab does is beg for food the only difference is I've never had a cat knock food of the table when I walk away, or right out of my goddamn hands in some cases. Poorly trained dogs can be pretty dangerous. What the fuck is a poorly trained cat gunna do to you, piss on your blankets, lol

you prefer an emotionally shallow animal?

cats make you work for their affection, they don't sell out the way dogs do

This as well it just seems to me cats are way more mysterious and not as attached to people, I honestly love all animals but I just prefer cats. It really pisses me off though when dog people talk about how they will kill cats just cause their cats.

Cats do the same thing

The cat my dog scared up a tree immediately started loving up on me and let me hold it even though I had never seen it before....

Now that is selling out, in the end it is really a personality thing. I have met cold indifferent cats and overly attached ones with separation anxiety

Dogs just have more personality IME and also can be much smarter, but there are certainly plenty of dumb dogs and smart cats too.

Don't worry about me, I've got all that I need. And I'm singing my song to the sky

You know how it feels, With the breeze of the sun in your eyes. Not minding that time's passing by

I've got all and more, My smile, just as before. Is all that I carry with me

I talk to myself, I need nobody else. I'm lost and I'm mine, yes I'm free
