Success please tell me what your think of my brf jars after only 6 days I'm new to cultivating and I made mistakes in my first 2 attempts still have some over cooked jars that I'm almost certain nothing is growing in but I followed everything people told me I did wrong and after only six days this is what I got.

Jars look fine man. don't see any major issues with them. Hell, don't see any minor issues.
Looks good to me. IMO the less you move them, the better off you'll be. The Verm layer shifting I think causes a lot of problems. I wouldn't mess with them for 2 more weeks.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I don't enjoy the feelings that mushrooms bring on, but I enjoy growing them. Definitely don't sell, and to be totally honest, I don't even have any friends to give them to. But. I enjoy growing them.

Even if you did sell
Sounds about as morally wrong as selling cannabis or watermelon imo. They're all gifts from nature. They all required work to get on the market. They all have a price. The only difference between mushrooms and watermelons is the risk involved in doing so.
I'm not saying to do it, but everyone around here looks at it like it's some forbidden sin to do so or something.

I first started growing thinking it'd be some quick cash. I'm not against it. But honestly, the market is small. Especially for the price. People wanting an 8th for 20 or 30 bucks, I busted my ass to grow these. No one wants to pay what I value them at. And that's fine. I'll sit on them. It's no easy task to grow a schedule 1 controlled substance. It's very risky, and to be frank, it's not easy. I've failed more than I've succeeded. I'm not against selling. But I have realized, that the market is very small. Very few people want mushrooms for some reason.

That's very true I do understand they are a medical mushroom and they help people. For me it's the stress of reality but for another it can be a cluster headache. Morally what ever I do with my babies I'm 100% comfortable but if came to the conclusion the smallest scale of culitavating isn't enough for me to deal with my issue how ever it seems any step up and the dried mushies will just continue to build up. Weird hobby fun loving and amazing. I truly don't know what else to say about this kind of thing other than I gotta learn to make a spore print before some one screws it all up for us by trying to grow these industrially. Who knows maybe they will be as accepting as cannabis and ayahuasca are becoming. Only time will tell just like with my jars. I'm so proud so walk into my closet get a shirt and see the progress of my jars daily "without touch" all the growth in my pic is from the last 3 days

Location location location.
tbh if I sold eighths for $30, I'd make like $2500 for about every $100 I spend.
But yeah, the market is really small where I'm at too. If I was in Denver or Austin or something it'd be a completely different story.

Yeah, I'd hate for someone to screw this up for us and make these become schedule 1 substances or something

I completely understand. I had a couple ounces that I had been spacing out microdoses on. Now I'm down to like 20g or so. Gotta love mushrooms.

I think he was talking to me for bringing up distribution as a topic. It's a really sensitive discussion on the shroomery and something I probably shouldn't have done admittedly.

Well I work at a grocery store that sells those jars for less than 8 dollars a dozen. Plus I have yet to ever fruit a cake so I need a couple successes with brf cakes first and I also need to learn to print first as well once I can print and do my own spores I'll move up to bulk methods.

Yeah definitely invest in a pc. It's worth the money. I recommend the Presto 23 quart pressure cooker which fits 7 quart jars (9 if you lay 2 on their side on top) and works like a charm. That specific pc is used by many cultivators on here. It's like $80
