I live in a wooded area in SWFL near the coast of the Gulf and it has been raining sporadically for a few days so I decided to do some hunting.

First one is white, from what I can tell it has white, sponge-like gills. It grows in clusters, with fruits overlapping eachother. All of these fruits connect to some dense mycelium that is located under the clumps. I found two clusters, one of which I harvested and spread around in hopes more might grow.
They were found growing in the humus around decaying oak logs, growing in piles of decaying leaves.

They were slimey to the touch but were soft and tender when squeezed. They had a very intense smell of umami when broken apart.

I just wanna know if these are potentially edible if someone can ID them.

The second I suspect to be a young reishi. It's growing on a decaying oak log. I just want to confirm that it may be a reishi.

The first in the photos are the mystery clusters.

Abortoporus biennis I think. Definitely a Ganoderma on the other. Compare to G. curtsii.
