Remember not to paint yourself into a corner! 4

I painted a garage floor with this stuff today:
On the back, the instructions say:
USING YOUR FLOOR PAINT1. Use a large brush, roller or Perfect Finish Pad to put it on.
2. Give the paint a really good stir. Start at the opposite end of the garage and work in small sections towards the door. Remember not to paint yourself into a corner!
Are people really so lacking in common sense they need to be reminded of this? I actually found myself laughing hysterically half way through the job cause I could/couldn't imagine people being oblivious enough to do this to themselves. Source

Common sense is a misnomer. Common sense is NOT as abundantly found as you might suspect. The warning is there, no doubt, because it have proven in the past to be necessary. Sad but true.

Sometimes I accidentally mop myself into a corner when mopping the floor.
Also don't forget to drop the flakes for added visual effect!

Haha, it's like when you're watching the news and you see that it's pouring rain outside and the meteorologist says you should use an umbrella because rain is wet. Unfortunately people are as stupid as that label is suggesting.

I'm not going to lie I could totally see myself doing this when really baked/ out of it I almost never paint though and tend to space out.
This thread reminds me of the label on this delicious hemp milk I drink:
"Do not use this product as baby formula"

I always pictured some hippy mom reading the label and thinking "damn it"

They put warnings to not fucking iron a T-shirt while you wear it, and you're surprised people are dumb enough too paint themselves into a corner?
You're way more optimistic than I, sir.

On a similar vein I was hanging out with some jesus freaks today and I wondered how badly it would freak them out if I just collapsed in the floor and started convulsing as they yelled hallujueh. I havent laughed that hard in a while.

I have never had a garage so I couldn't possibly speak from experience but what reason could you have for painting the floor?

I've seen that shit at my grandmother's church. Dude said something about the power of God surging through him after his partner read some bible passages, tried to start seizing and ended up falling down the stairs in front of him and fucked up his ankle. It was hilarious, I was thinking "God did that to you for being a weird idiot." Maybe there should be a preacher's manual that says "avoid stairs while praising Jesus."

It can also help insulate if you have a heated garage.
Concrete absorbs a lot of heat.

Haters always gonna hate huh? I'm doing it as a favour for someone, as the prep work is pretty backbreaking; wirebrushing a whole garage floor and getting all the dust up afterwards took about 4 times as long as laying a coat. Just about to go and lay the final coat now.

Easy bro, this guy created one of the greatest bands in history; and he reportedly painted himself into a corner while painting this floor. If you think these types of warnings are unnecessary, you are clearly not doing enough drugs.
