I don't understand how Science doesn't get more public attention. Take this for instance; Scientists speculate that Neptune may be composed of liquid diamond underneath its atmosphere. The atmosphere itself produces winds of thousands of miles per hour. Better yet, they suppose there may even be giant icebergs made of diamond or "diamondbergs". That would get even Kardashians attention!!

It is cool. But also wrong its liquid diamonds on Neptune and Uranus. Jupiter is the solid core diamonds in center. Science has know this for 22 years. People for the most part don't like science or math because it makes them learn or care about life. Thats why trump becoming head of state. No hope for our way of life.

I forget where I read it. I should have made sure it was a valid source. Even if it is wrong, it could still get people interested in science. I think Jupiter contains liquid hydrogen, not diamond. I think it is primarily composed of H and He.

Speaking from personal experience: it's too difficult to grasp.
Diploid, our PS&P moderator who recently died, RIP, recommended me the book "Asimov's New Guide To Science". I read the whole book, thoroughly, but I don't remember anything from it, simply because it's too difficult to grasp for me. It doesn't stick to my brain.

keep a log of what you do and what you learn and where you learned it. this will probably help (it's also part of the scientific method)
no Trump supporters do this.
