Getting my GTT cheetah fixed * 1
    #23403234 - 07/02/16 06:45 AM (7 years, 6 months ago)

sIt's a super tight glassblowing torch I'm going to  and end up getting a Y connector for my tanks and running two torches at once with this guy who has been blowing glass for seven years now I am in for a learning experience for sure .  Best part about it is I was paying an overcharged  50 an hour before if I ever wanted to be shown somethjng in person. Because I couldn't grasp the concept abstractly by surfing and studying the internet .  Hell yeah people's the knowledge I'm about to learn with this partnership is gonna have me mailing heady artistic water pipes for Tabaso sauce only to everyone's on the shroomtown. :feelsgoodman:

Edit: ninja edit

cheetah is a decent torch. been running a Mirage for the last year or two, upgraded from a Phantom.
i mostly make marbles and such, but lately have been getting my pipe thang on.....quit the day job and marbles don't pay the bills every month (but that is my ultimate goal).

a few pics of what i make:

Those marbles in the 2nd pic are especially badass.

those are my "chaos" marbles. the "stones" in the lens are opals (gilson synthetic/lab created) and the cloudish looking haze is pure silver fume. probably my favorite style marble to make. easy money and people love them.

have one for sale atm, but no takers, it's just over 2" in diameter and includes a hematite display stand + comes signed on the back by the artist (yours truly) $160 shipped.

I would buy one but I know I'd break it trying to do some David Bowie in Labyrinth tricks or something.

dude.....they're borosilicate aka, they bounce on concrete. not saying you should use one as a rubber bouncy ball, but they do bounce a few times before the structural integrity is compromised.

if you're serious, send me a pm and we can talk. i do custom work (as in, pick your colors etc) as well as beads (they fit pandora style jewelry) and pendants etc. but my passion lies within marbles.
what i live for

btw, thanks for the kind words everyone!!!

and fwiw....labyrinth is one of the best movies, ever!!

hell, i could make crystal balls just like he was taunting Sarah with, same size etc. not exactly cheap, but fun to play with.

the other bonus of pure crystal ball....they make great "solar fire starters" or as i like to call them, "hippy lighters".
