Shroom ID please?

I found these and was wondering if they're okay to eat and won't kill me (I've never taken shrooms) and also if I just have them on a paper towel with ceiling fan on high over them in a room with the light on is okay for them and they won't get moldy? Should I turn the light off? I don't have a dehydrator. Thanks!

You got the right ones! Your described method of drying should work though I have only used it for cyanescens which are smaller than cubensis, if you can you could put them on paper towel over a heat vent.
You can totally eat them and you totally won't die. Look up info on how to properly take mushrooms beforehand though IE set and setting and proper headspace and dosage ( not allowed to give specific dosage advice on this forum) Terrence Mckenna has some good stuff on youtube about how to take mushrooms
Excited for you!

also remember that the dosage goes up 10:1 when they are frsh vs. dried. (for every dry gram you would take it would be around 10 grams fresh for the same effect)

The pub is a very strange choice of forum for mushroom identification even if we didn't have a mushroom identification forum already.
Those would be wild Psilocybe cubensis. Congrats.
--------------------
Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Hey thanks guys and sorry for posting here I just don't know how to navigate this website and only made an account to ask this question lol where should I post in the future? Btw I checked the shrooms and they have dried out a lot in the last 5 hours under a fan and no mold!! I have them sitting in direct sunlight now with a black shirt over them as to not directly expose them... Hopefully k can write a trip report soon!! What is your opinion on smoking on them? Yes or no?

This thread was moved from The Pub.
Reason: Moved it to the right forum for you.
A K report should go in the 'Trip Report' sub in TPE or ODD.
Enjoy man!
