Going bald
    #23402191 - 07/01/16 07:47 PM (7 years, 6 months ago)

So I've been looking at my head with mirrors and, I can't deny it, it's really happening at 25 years old.

How do I come to terms with this?

I don't get why everyone is so embarrassed by this shit. My hairline started receding when I was in my early 20's. Maybe even as young as 18 or 19.

It's just hair, it doesn't mean a damn thing. A half bald guy with neatly cut hair will always come across better than a dude with a full head of dirty tangled unkepmt hair.

Thats my plan when i start balding

It'll be awhile for me before i have to worry about that though.

There was a kid in my highschool that was basically bald by the end of his senior year. Pretty sure he just keeps it shaved now.

There's always the shampoo, I know people that use it to good effect. Just costs money.

No shampoo, no meds or any shitass products, not shaving my head either. My head shape is bad. I really dislike the skinhead look anyway. Its only the crown of my head for now anyway. No receding line.

Going bald is pretty much the worst thing to ever happen to me in my entire life.

So I've started putting away 200 dollars a month specifically for implants.

op just embrace it, trying to not will only scream your own ego issues with struggling to move beyond losing your hair.

when it gets barren keep whatever is left trim and short and unless you look like a donkey you will be fine.

Yeah I started going bald at 25. You kinda just gotta accept it and act like it isn't there haha. Whatever. Not much we can do about it

Once I get a better job and save up some cash I want to look into getting a hair transplant. I'm too young to be going bald

My hairline started to recede when I was like 19 or 20. I just came to accept it and I'm enjoying my hair while I can. Thankfully things seem to have stopped or at least really slowed down for now. So I'm hoping I can squeeze another 5+ years out of it.

The most important thing I've found is confidence. If you wear it boldly you will be able to rock damn near any hair style. And most decent women honestly don't care that much. Besides Patrick Stewart is bald and rocks it and he's still looking great.

My hairline started receeding when I was around 18. I know my family history so I'm not worried about going BALD bald for a long long time, if at all, but there's still that looming dread knowing it's creeping it's way back there. Then there's the grey hairs. No point pulling them anymore, even my beard has become inundadted with the bastard things. I don't really care though, it's just hair. I've got my wife and kids there's no one left to impress and I'm sure they don't give a shit if my head shines slightly some day.

Just shave your head, wear a baseball cap if you cant stand the shape of your head. Some chicks might like it. It's genetic and there's nothing you can do about it anyway. Be glad you didn't live in the 70's when every guy had to wear long hair or he was a narc, no matter how much your hair was receding. Just wear a baseball cap. Half the guys in the U.S. do. My guess is you wont even be worried about this in two years. This is the best time in the last 50 years for guys with early receding hairlines.
