Help IDing a few
    #23400053 - 07/01/16 06:06 AM (7 years, 6 months ago)

Habitat: Grass, a couple feet away from some trees will update when I figure out specific type of tree.

Gills #1: White
Gills #2: White
Gills #3: Brown

Stem #1: White, wide, mostly are hollow but have some insides, might have lost some when removing stems to make spore prints.
Stem #2: White, skinny, again mostly hollow.
Stem #3: Brown, hollow, skinny.

Cap #1: Brown/tanish, smooth texture.
Cap #2: Redish, smooth.
Cap #3: Brown, kind of furry on top it looks, not as smooth as the others.

Bruising: --
l
General location: East Coast of USA, VA.

Set them aside to try and get spore print colors for each, will have picture momentarily.

It is hard to make an accurate ID using just the top of the cap. You should take photos of the underside and next time take photos of the whole specimen in situ so that we can get an idea of its general size/shape/growth habit.

I think #1 may be an amanita species, but that is kind of a wild guess.

I think # 3 may be a Lacrymaria due to the cap texture, but I can't be sure

if  number 2 had a chalky/brittle kind of stem it might be a russula sp.

Well, neat, thanks guys. Gonna go keep looking, there's a medium sized forest nearby filled with all sorts of cool looking ones.

Maybe a ringless Amanita, such as A. vaginata ?
