Early season...The time is NOW!!!
    #23399379 - 06/30/16 10:53 PM (7 years, 6 months ago)

My first post and I just wanted to share.

The conditions here are amazing (York, UK). Wet and warm.

I was walking my dog yesterday and had a random thought about mushrooms. As soon as I did, I looked down, and lo and behold I saw a few.

I walked down the grassy path and found several more.

So, later I went to my 'usual mushroom field' and collected around 150-200 in maybe an hour.

This morning, I just went to another sheep field and collected (uncounted, so maybe) 200 more In about 40 minutes!!!. (They're EVERYWHERE!!!)

I've collected around 400+ mushrooms in 2 days. Never have I seen so many.

Last year, I had experiences of searching for 3 hours, soaking wet and cold in October, and finding 10!!!

I just wanted to share that they're growing in abundance already where I am.

Yesterdays dried ones.

This mornings catch!

It's been a very depressing week in my life, and this find has made me happier then I've been all year.

I CAN'T WAIT

Peace and love!!!

Welcome to the community.. However, this part of the forum "Mushroom Cultivation" is only for posts related to the cultivation of active mushrooms. There is a separate sub-forum for mushroom hunting and identification.
