I wouldn't be surprised if RR had something lying around. Too bad he isn't around anymore

AFAIK RR gave away his collection when he quit. Not sure if he even has anything kicking around these days.

You think he would have given away his active cultures though? It seems like if anything he kept, it would be those. I just have a hard time believing a guy like RR would give literally everything away.

He posted a while back asking for serious commercial edible cultivators, or those soon to be. He then later posted that they were gone, he had found his candidate. I'm sure even if he did send those too, he could get a slant of it back if he wanted...

He was pretty broke up. I still would think he'd have some shiitake cultures or something. Maybe not though. It was really sad reading his last posts...

It's why I have been as open as I could be to show that it's totally possible for average people to pull off. We have loads of undomesticated genetics floating around too, lots of potential in the community.
In 20 years there might be a super cool array of options.

I have a wild Australian cubensis print that was sent to me by a member. Would probably be an ideal start to developing a strain.

Yeah, I remember drinking giant glasses of orange juice as a kid thinking I was having a healthy, vitamin-C rich beverage. Practically no one back then talked about the sugar overload, diabetes, etc.
My father died at 47 in a hospital in part from bad advice to have an unnecessary elective surgery. They told him he would be able to just stay overnight and go back to work a day later. He did have other health problems but probably wouldn't have had the massive heart attack without the surgery.

Its OK, life goes on. I've been over it for years but he wasn't exactly kind to me growing up, he had bad anger issues, so I didn't feel that close to him.
I suppose the sad thing about it was that he was mellowing out and finally becoming a nicer dude. So, by the time I was over being pissed off at him, it was then too late to have a good relationship.
Such is life (and death).
Sorry this is super off topic but bad advice can have dire consequences, beyond mucking up our hobbies!

Oh, comon. Not like the guy died or anything. He's probably having even more fun than all of the people here combined with his MJ garden. Probably schooling those stoners at the growery right the fuck now
That said, I think he would have kept the prints he owned. AFAIK, he only gave away his edible live cultures (slants), I doubt he gave the guy active prints as well. He might have just threw all of that shit away, which I would find more plausible I guess.

He's probably not doing all those things... if you didn't read his last few posts before he left then you may not fully understand just how broken the man was.
