Loop holes - the benefits of online shopping

so ive been a bit of a shut in for tooooo many years now and so have bought everything from clothes, food, to my current pets online, but i thought i would bring some loopholes to your attention ive noticed that as far as im aware (bit of a guess here) just wouldn't be accepted if bought instore in person
starting with my groceries which is hte bigest of the loopholes imo, it's almost too easy to call and complain and have someone who didnt even pack my shoping take care of almost any issue refunding me for missing damaged or otherwise "fautly" goods, i have not had to actually complain for a long time as i was having a recurring issue with soft items being crushed in the same bags as tins etc with no care in packing and this ceaced along with other things i had complained in past about after i lost it on the 3rd time in a row having complained before and gave them them of hell over the phone
recently however i complained about some tuna that had gone out of date since it was due to go out the day after i recieved my shopping, they do make notes for items with short life span as on that order there were a few but i guess fresh fish was a given here... still there i was complaining feeling a bit silly but got my unusable tuna refunded, i could of course been lying eaten the tuna and phoned up...but have never actually done that but the thought is always there
i have to ask though how this can be? if you go into a store and buy somehting and it goes out of date You're to blame! yet here via this service its ok to get refunded, along with a number of other systems set up like replacments for items not in store that cost more im not charged extra for and the difference is deucted.... it's fucking crazy!
similar policys for complaining leak over into amazon/ebay etc, you can simply send a complaining mail and you're refunded shortly providing no proof what so ever! i may start doing this more often, i learend after someone got a refund for an item i posted that "didnt turn up" that you can have fairly costly items refunded a certain ammont of times a year with almost no hasstle from paypal.
another great loophole i discoverd via a clothing company, thay have 100 day returns almost no quible and paid for ehich is collected from my home... if you buy some items and use a voucher, which usually to qualify you have to spend £50 for %15 off etc you can use this and then send back an item that "doesn't fit" you don't need to get one that does fit either and you're refunded the total cost of that item not including the discount you got, so you keep your item you got discounted, this happend recently and wondred if it was a on off so will try again at some point
the only thing with shopping online of course is you have to wait...something i have long since adapted to!
tldr > shop online, complain get free or discounted items vs. shop in store and get stuck with what you paid for 9 times out of 10

Shopping online is the shit! I have scored so many awesome things at great deals and met a lot of cool unique sellers.
2 of my favorite scores though while from Craigslist I would never have found without the internet.
They are both 300$ really nice effects pedals for guitar and other things, I got one for 150 and the other for 200.
Also trades online can be amazing as are giveaways and other similiar things.

I don't feel right trying to get free things from hardworking people. It's taking advantage of people's kindness.
I have done it on accident though.
Why complain when you know what your buying. If to many people did this businesses wouldn't be around lol
I'm not trying to be a sqaure but come on man.

Did you even read his whole post? He said he has never complained unless it was warranted even though lying for free stuff is tempting. When you buy something and it shows up in poor condition due to bad packaging not complaining would be ridiculous, clearly they aren't that hardworking or they would take an extra 5-10 minutes and actually package things so they arrive in a decent condition.

Sounds stand up
I don't believe in doing this to people. I never said the OP did anything wrong, I don't think.
I agree if your package arrives all messed up it should be refunded is some way.

that is not a loophole though, that is just a pain in the ass situation from being too lazy to go the market...

its like junkies stealing from walmart late night then coming right back in the morning after shift change and getting junk loot.
winning if you are a junky i guess, otherwise people with real jobs and obligations don't have the time for such trival disengenuousness.

thanks for standing up for me 420, i think he was coming off as accusing me a little, it is wrong sure to simply complain when you have no reason to, my point with the post was that know one knows the difference vis a vis if you go into a store you might have to show what is wrong where as you avoid this with online.

i have severe social anxiety which has been getting easier sure, i dont steal from the local shop i go to, lazyness has nothing to do with this! sure the internet is a lazy persons gift i'll give you that, in fact it has made my troubles with aproaching the outside world a lot harder.. but that's a littel off topic

I have to agree. Sounds like a scam OP.
Reminds me of CrystalG's thread on "bad customers".

hmm have to dissagree a bit, a scam is more of a planned out/heist situation thing, this is a flaw in the online based system you can take advantage of and without being a bad customer via one or 2 emails at most from past genuine fault experience, a disshonnest one sure but was simply something that became more and more apparrent to me from all the online shopping i do and ive done enough to last a lifetime, and i have to say ive always been a good customer/feedback leaver.
