I don't see any popped grains in that pic. They look fine. Are they a little sticky?

Nope, those are whole eye berries so yes you can continue to PC

(Grain-to-Grain) Damion5050's Coir Tek (I use 5.5 - 6 quarts of water instead of 4. Also ignore step 13 and ignore the monotub completely. The only purpose of this tek is to show you how to make a simple substrate. I also add gypsum to it but not necessary) Spitball's Monotub Tek (A liner isn't necessary but is useful) Use 6500k lights throughout the whole process. When you wake up, turn the light on. When you go to sleep turn the light off. It's as simple as that.

Will letting them steam for about 2hours effect my moisture? Is that too long? Have something that came up and need to leave but would hate to waste 10 qts of rye berries

2 hours is probably fine. You can go ahead and put them in the jars with lids if they are already ready.

If they are still wet and steamy, then they are not ready.

Facepalm. Lol I thought you meant that instead of letting them steam in the pot for 2 hours whilst drying to put them in the jars. So they are now in the jars. If I take lids off and leave em in the jars will they steam/ dry properly?

No. If they they are not ready to go in to the jars, then don't put them in to the jars. If they are too wet, then water may pool at the bottom and cause a massive clump or generally sticky grains.
