does this look like chicken of the woods? there is a much younger bracket nearby on a stump and it was very bright yellowish i noticed it a few days ago.  after an inch of rain i saw this today. i have more pics if needed

is this one safe to eat????  ?i didnt see any black staining as described on wiki when i handled the bracket.... thanks everybody

Never tried them but apparently they are edible.  There is black staining on the top of cap in pic #2.
