Do any of you guys have plants with crazy thin leaves? Mine are damn near see through. Nice color, deep green, but really thin.
Jw if anyone else has the same issue(?) and if so what it might be.

When you say spread out, do you mean they widen or do you mean they get thicker? Im referring to the depth of the leaf.
Im sure both of them are probably a product of age, like you mentioned, but i just wanted to be sure.

I use citric acid because as a solid I can weigh it very accurately on my lab scale and it is a multiple acid although that might not matter much. It's also a weak acid which may matter.
Phosphoric acid might be nice since it possibly buffers more but I'd worry that it contributes to phosphate levels at some point... Same story with sulfuric acid as in battery acid (yes I've heard that being used ). Just seems better to have some simple organic acid, I think most people probably use vinegar / acetic acid which is such an organic acid and should be absolutely fine, but in the way I think citric acid is a bit more likeable in a lot of ways. Or fumaric / tartaric acid maybe but that's unnecessarily exotic for this purpose even for my taste.
I am down to 3 seedlings but stabilized with them I think... they grow slowly but stand upright. Pretty sure I have the same bugs that are bugging a lot of my other plants but nobody IDs them and I don't know how to treat them properly.
About a mm long almond shaped, dark (seemingly black but they might have a colored sheen) and with considerable antennae but pretty sure they can't fly... they like to walk around the soil and the base of plants and hide underneath pots rather than on leaves etc. Potassium fatty acids seem to keep them at bay but unsure if I should somehow treat the entire soils of pots to exterminate, don't want to kill my plants.
Back to my novo's though: I keep the soil nice and dry, I water carefully with a spoon when it's getting quite dry.. I don't see gnats anymore I think, H2O2 was super effective afaik.
Am going to france soon for 2 weeks. The caretaker can only follow simple instructions so I am almost tempted to take the seedlings with me.. lol. Nah I will probably make instructional videos for all plants that need unusual care xD

One of my seedlings wilted from the dry heat out here. It only has 2 true leaves. It was laying flat on the dirt, and the leaves were like deflated balloons. I watered it, put a humidity tent back over it, and 3-4 days later, you would never know the difference! I am debating removing the tent again. I don't want to baby these babies. I've lost too many due to over-babying, I believe.
By the way, I think one of my narrow leaf khat seeds just popped a taproot!
