Well crap, so the pH meter I got must have been calibrated wrong. Looks like the water I gave them this last time was actually pH 4...
Now they have all dropped all their leaves. I got a colorimetric test today and did my best to get the water at 5.5 (It's definitely between 5 and 6). Gave them a good watering today to make sure they get locked in to a more proper pH.
Have y'all ever seen smaller plants bounce back after dropping all their leaves?

I’ve seen some of mine come back to life after dropping a lot of leaves and then really flourish, but that was with plants that were out of that very difficult seedling stage. That first year with coca can be pretty challenging, but after that it is a pretty hardy plant. Good luck.

Yep i think back in the first pages of this thread i posted a dead plant that came back a few weeks later, just water when need i.e. almost bone dry and reduce the nutes to like 1/4 strength and keep the ph right. Tbh a ph4 shouldnt hurt them they can handle that no problem, iirc down to around ph 3ish.

Okay cool. Fingers crossed they bounce back. One of them is still showing green around the meristem, but the others are brown on the stem and I feel like they're still too young to be turning woody.

Hell no youre right. I gotta build something in the garage. Maybe a wooden box of sorts. I got a bright white led i wanna use. My buddy Leo, may he rest in peace, gave me one. A drilling rig light.

We had 2 light freezes this week. I brought the best dozen novos in and left the other 12 outside and covered with a 1.5oz frost cloth. The outside ones probably won't survive. The look like crap. I think I sowed them in July or August. For their age they have nice woody stems.

Sucks mate, i went through loads in the beggining some would die staight away some weeks later, then just as i thought id got the hang of it a year on i lost more. The two i have now are my sole survivors, but one all the leaves look like they have nute burn the other is absolutely perfect, makes no sense they are the same age, same size, everything the same and they are both fed from the same jug with the nute/water mix. They really do have their own individual thing going on.

I also only have two left, and one looks pretty good, and the other looks like shit. These plants are quite unpredictable. I would really love to get one to like... tree size!
When I chew the leaves, I don't even really feel much at all also... Maybe my cocaine tolerance is just too high. I think if these don't make it, I'm done bothering with these plants lol

Mine are doing OK inside, like the past few winters. They are dropping some leaves, almost always it’s older leaves that are closest to the main trunk. One of mine has had berries on it for probably 2 months, they never seem to mature. The few I’ve tried to plant didn’t germinate. When I received my berries 5 or so years ago, every one of them germinated while in the mail. I’m hoping that these berries will drop on the floor where I can easily collect them. How long should it take for these berries to mature? I’m not really impressed with the potency of the leaves either. Several pages back in this thread somebody mentioned that aggressive harvesting will increase potency. Supposedly the same holds true with khat, which I’m also unimpressed with in regards to potency. Next year I’m going to put all of my coca and khat in much bigger pots, fertilize well, and strip off 50% of leaves at intervals to see if that helps. I’ve definitely had times where one of my three plants looks sickly, half dead, and dropping burned curled leaves. The ironic thing is that the sickly plant always becomes the healthiest and largest plant in about 6 months.
