So the berries are sitting on top of the soil, but still molding? Could try sprinkling some cinnamon. Not sure how effective it is against mold, but it has antifungal properties. Wouldn't hurt the seeds either, so it's worth a shot?

Is that the dead(ish) one come back to life? Mines come back a beast growing faster than its ever grown. Just clipped most of the branches off my other one thats growing slow, just producing leaves but not actually getting bigger.

Tnx for the advice.
The berries are in a small plastic box with lid and some in small zip type plastic bags. In the box/bags are moist spahnum moss to keep a humid climate. The sphagnum moss is put in boiling water prior to inserting into the bags (let cold before inserting), just to kill any bad stuff. The berries lies inbedded in this damp sphamnum moss and the box/bags are put under my seedling lamp where it is 30-34 degrees C.
The berries starts to develop mold on the red fruitflesh so it´s not the sphagnum moss that starts to mold. Since the berries are fragile i dont want to soak them in alcohole or something strong. I have cleaned off the mold with water and H2O2 and put in fresh sphagnum moss. Some berries i have put in a 1% bleach solution for a little while and then rinsed with water. Mold is coming back after a while.
I wonder if taking off the fruitflesh will affect the germination rate. I have read some do like this so i hope they germinate. I guess it´s more important that the berries not dries out if taking the fruitflesh off. After a while the fruitflesh will have disapeared anyway, i guess it decomposes with time.
Anyone germinated coca berries without the fruitflesh on them? I try cinnamon powder on some berries to test.

Congrats on the homegrown novo, wow!
Would be interested in a pic when the time is right
Am weaning off a novo without humidity dome and out of the draught of a fan... so far so good! Direct fanning with dry air is probably very bad for a number of the plants I grow so in time I am probably going to reinstall my fans in more indirect ways.

Some pics of the germinated Novo berry from my plant.
Berry with small sprout and planted it with top just showing so its easy for it to push up.
The sprout dont seem 100% healty, i hope it makes it. I usually leave it in spagnum moss bag until sprout is little longer but im afraid of mold and stuff so i planted it in pot. You see the berry has no fruitflesh. I removed it to get rid of the mold that came back every time. It seems to work without fruitflesh, thats good.
While digging in the bag i saw another one of my novo berrys.
Seems 2 of them has germinated, woohoo...
This one i planted in a mix of citrus soil, coco and perlite. Just dig a hole and make sure it faces upward.
 The pot with hole.
I forgot to put berry in for photo, lol But its planted alright now.
I put the pots in a mini greenhouse i use for my Iboga seeds, humid and warm. Now just wait and hope for the best.

It is. I was playing with words. A radicle is the root that first emerges from the seed when germinating.
Radical is a word used to describe something that's pretty cool.

Thanks Karode.
It´s very satisfying that my own berries seem to germinate, but they not a plant yet and much can go wrong. But it feels good so far.
No E.Coca or Ibogas has sprouted yet for me.

One of my E.Coca may have sprouted, not entirely sure as I don't want to pull them out of the ziplock

You know for sure soon. When the sprout/root thing is about 1 cm it´s time to plant it in a small pot.

I guess I'll see if I'm right or wrong within a few days. The worst thing about studying from home is that I pass the growing area atleast 10 times per day and have to stop and check every single time. I know nothing has happened the past 15 minutes but it's impossible to not check

I know that one. I have been home from work feeling sick for 2 days now and even i don´t feel very good i can´t resist going and take a peek at my seedlings and berries many times each day. I think one of my Iboga seeds is germinating but i don´t want to dig around the pot too much so i rather wait and see. Im happy one of the coca berries are germinating for you, none of mine has done that yet. It´s very hard to see in the sphagnum moss as the moss is so much similar sometimes.

Heh, I can really relate to that. Plenty of times I've seen strings from the sphagnum moss, believing it to be a root just to understanding it's moss a few seconds later. Dem feels

Very cuticle!
Good luck Mateo
IIRC it is best to put the berries on their side when you plant them? Something to do with them having to push up the berry?
When do you guys repot? (I am definitely not there yet but just curious..)
