Found these on a field the other day and was wondering if anyone would be able to confirm my suspicions that this is panaeolus Clintcus  (think that's how it's spelt), thanks guys.

Did you do a spore print? If its a cinct it should have a jet black spore print. Where did you find it in the field? Was there dung nearby? If so what kind of dung? It looks like a pan foe to me but wait for a TI to confirm. The cap doesnt look right for cinctulus its too brown and has a nipple shape like a foe and lines on the top edge of the cap. The gills arent black or grey enough but the stem looks right for Panaeolus. Please fill out the template so we have more information in which to help you recieve a proper ID. It might even be Psathyrella.

Unfortunately no I did not do a spore print , it was not growing near or on any dung and the grass on the field was short. I know own the field is regularly used by horse riders aswell.

Well it could be a cinct if horses frequent the area. A spore print is needed to properly ID. Even then its still not 100% accurate ID because pans are hard to fully ID without microscopy.
