Popcorn advice needed

So last week I started some 1 Li tre corn jars, it looks like they are coming along quite well. All though I did not PC the jars I sterilized the jars with alcohol and steam boiled for 3 hours.

The jar on the left was shaken at 30% and overtook the other that was not shaken.
I plan to leave for an extra week after 100% colonization. After that im not totally sure how to bulk.
I have my coir/verm mixed and will bucket pasteurize.

i guess i will use a tray and after incubation will fruit in my terrarium.

Should the ratio of spawn to mix be 1:2 and then mixed through evenly?
any advice is much appreciated.
thanks guys

looks ok so far buddy, good job.
big thing though. that fruiting chamber will NOT work the way you want it to. look up how to make a proper SGFC(shotgun fruiting chamber), and turn it into one immediately. you can thank me later when your mushrooms thank you (;

Do you think the jars look bacterial? due to the excess moisture.

Op...I've used every grain there is? But popcorn for whatever reason never worked for me....
Those look very good considering you didn't even pressure cook them and no, not bacterial, healthy.

yeah the jar to the right is majorly bacterial.
dont wait, use the other jar now, 1:2 is a good ratio, mix evenly, and build a proper SGFC

I thought the jar on the right looked different because it wasn't shaken?
After mixing with coir/verm in a tray it should be 3-4 inches deep? Then incubate untill the surface is white?

The jar to the right was not shaken....the mycelium is colonizing slower because of high levels of co2.

You are correct
Popcorn is a 1:2 ratio.... per 1 l of popcorn spawn you can safely spawn to 2 l worth of bulk material...sometimes people like to go higher if it's a isolated culture....with Ms use the 1:2 ratio... I use 1:1 with wbs and it still takes awhile to colonize.
I'd store the other one in the fridge and give that one a shake...it will only be 6-7 days before it's fully recovered and colonized.

that makes no sense, your grains dont look bacterial until you shake them, thats just ludacris.

sure, and see how it looks while recovering and how each grain wont break up properly, you'll get little nuggets of kernels and thick creamy myc (bacteria)

After spawning to coir/verm should there be FAE while incubating or sealed inside a bin bag?
