Hello all,
Just recently visited a friend in Australia and I took my interest in mushrooms with me!
Finally escaped the CBD to a national park and happened accross a couple of what I believe to be Psilocybe subaeruginosa. We then continued to walk some trails which eventually, as if it was meant to be, lead us to a patch of beautiful golden caps poking out from the surrounding grasses and leaves. I was ecstatic to (hopefully) have had a confirmed finding of another Psilocybe species!
I have a video of me picking a couple, showing the surrounding area and the habitat. If this is appropriate for the forum or if anyone is interested, please feel free to ask.
An ID from an expert would be greatly appreciated
Habitat: Found an hour outside of Melbourne CBD in a national park. Growing just outside of a horse paddock under Eucalypts. Found amongst short grasses, eucalypt leaves and ferns with decaying tree matter beneath surface.
Gills: Pale Brown to brown colour, adnate to adnexed
Stem: up to 13cm length, 5mm to 8mm diameter, White to brown/blue bruising color, stick like texture, hollow.
Cap: Up to 5.5cm Diameter, Brown to Bright gold colour, Gelatinous texture, conical to convex.
Spore print color: Brown
Bruising: Specimens exhibited blue bruising, some showing blue bruising before being picked
IMAGES:

All laid out (Discolouration due to being kept in a plastic bag for a few hours after picking as it was all i had on me)

Other Habitat Shots

Thanks guys <3
