Just wondering what the public opinion on this one is. Yay or nay? Crazy, good? stupid? any opinion, feedback welcome. Not what I expected personally. Though not surprised.
Thumbsup on the overall quality film, and fight scenes ect. Just nothing like expected. The ending leaves much to be desired. Plus where the heck was Nick Fury, tons of other from the "realm" were there.(if you can even call it that anymore.) Instead of a mash of new suits and characters. Natasha appears, he does you'd think. Not even in secret credits.
I put to much anticipation into it possibly. As it takes years between them to be released. Maybe they shovel all the characters in each movie now to cut down on wait time. They were always slippery when it comes to throwing in two secret scenes into the credits. I was anxiously awaiting the next Thor with great anticipation, being a great fan of original avengers 2012 and the two Thor movies. But after this I don't know I'd like it anymore. I actually rather just go on imagining that Loki (my fav marvel guy) keeps the throne. I'm if he even appears it will be to get him out.
All I can say is what the heck is Marvel thinking lately. I started with them watching Iron man, Thor, the `1st avengers, capt americas. That drew me in. Guardians of the galaxy. Liked ant man.
They are churning out so many cross stories and new super heroes that it's coming to the point where soon every comic character is gonna be in the same movie.
Don't even get me started about that tony stark and baby spiderman part, it's like next freakin Batman will be on there too with stark designing the bat mobile, LOL at the rate they are going. They are stepping on old movies and changing classics that already happened, etc. I mean at least it looks like the road they are headed down.
Can't even begin to imagine the next avengers movie. The clues all lead to them taking on Thanos in hidden credits and possibly brushing paths with the crew from guardians of the galaxy.
Thoughts? Thanks for your time,
C

Did you not know what the civil war comics was about?
I don't want to see the movie version honestly because they kinda screwed up the entire point of the civil war. The governments wanted anybody who was super powered to register with their real full name.
Most the heroes didn't want to give up their secret identity because.... ITS THEIR FUCKING SECRET IDENTITY!! They started wearing a mask for a reason in the first place. To protect the Aunt May's and baby momma' sand shit. But in the marvel movies, none of the avengers have a secret identity, tony stark announces his identity on live tv in his first movie.
If they had a real real for the super heroes to be fighting, I would go see this.
The comics were epic.

I thought it was awesome, though I don't read the comics. It's ALWAYS the comic readers who complain about the movies, no offense. Maybe I woul too if I read them. And I don't think they're just hinting at Thanos being the next Avengers villain, it's kind of in your face. I think it'll be pretty epic, especially since it apparently is going to need 2 parts from what I've heard. Also I thought it was kinda cool how Tony designed Spider-Mans suit, I thought the whole scenario of them meeting was a good way to introduce him without having to do another stupid reboot movie.
What I'm really looking forward to seein though is Doctor Strange

I'm not big on superheroes but I liked it better than any of the previous marvel things, though I wished they'd killed off Iron man at the end. That would have made it much better imo. Too much set up for so little pay-off

Kill iron man? Are you crazy? Iron man is one of the best characters in the Marvel movies. Really all the movies are setting up for Infinity Wars though.

exactly killing him would have been big, but nobody else's death would have any impact for me.
i could give less of a shit about any other character, was pissed off even his buddy survived. Really superheroes aren't for me
I never got the appeal of people fighting each other over and over without any results. Fighting where no one dies: lame and shitty story telling, but then again, it is comics... I don't see them improving on this one tho so I probably wont watch the infinity wars stuff

Some people are gonna die in Infinity Wars I can almost guarantee it. I agree with you though about it being lame that so many of the characters have such heavy plot armor, that's why I like certain mangas more than comics in general, and I wouldn't even really consider myself an anime fan. Characters die and stay dead.
