cannabis tincture without decarbing

So I mistakenly made a cannabis tincture without first decarbing it. My first tincture was made using vaped weed and worked perfectly, but I noticed this one, despite using fresh bud, is considerably weaker, due to it being composed primarily of THCA
Is there any way I can decarb the THCA while its dissolved in alcohol?

Just let it sit.it'll take about a month to convert but it's worth it if you're trying to get high. Otherwise thca is good for you too, just take as is

You could try heating it very carefully. Do it outside on a low temperature. You will lose some alchohol to evaporation so doaing will be less accurate becaise the weed to alchohol ratio will be changes. The heat will also get rid of some terpenes. Im not even sure if heat will work while it is in solution but you could look into it if you dont want to wait for it to decarb by its self.
You could also evap the alchohol and redissolve the solutes into more alchohol after you decarb it. If you try this be very careful because its easier to ruin it with heat when you are decarbing extracts rather than weed.

I did that with ABV (already been vaped) and my results weren't good. The taste was disgusting and I had to do a lot to feel a mild buzz. I kept thinking - this would be so much better with fresh weed. But I enjoyed vaping my fresh weed so much, I didn't want to risk wasting it by making more bad tincture.
How does the fresh stuff taste? If it's gross, then that's a deal breaker for me.

haha yea, I called it brown dragon, and it tastes fucking terrible
The tincture made from fresh weed tastes considerably better. But I evaporated a lot of the alcohol off already so I only need about a droppers worth anyway.
So will the THCA slowly convert to THC over time just by sitting in solution? How does that happen? Thought some heat was need to cleve the carboxylic acid group

It's kind of like the curing process in that the THCa becomes thc. It occurs naturally anyways when you're buds dry out way too much. The heat just speeds it up.
I had a bunch of green Dragon I made(about 3/4oz into 500ml) I decarbed and then added to the everclear. After it Sat for a week to let the goodies leach out into the alcohol It was very heady and psychedelic, but It Sat in my cupboard slowly getting used and by time I finally got down to the bottom of the bottle a few months later some of the thc was converting to cbd so it was no longer super heady just very very stoney. Id pass out after my normal dose that would send me rocketing to outer space just a couple months earlier.
