i wouldn't be too worried about what a tabloid says
is that because you dont live int he UK or is it because you like to believe that millions of immigrants entering a country are wealthy enough that they wont need jobs because they're self sustaining

clearly, not ALL jobs are being taken by immigrants
the tabloid, also clearly, states "ALL"
hype and fear mongering
as well, the first article you posted claims a steady increase in low-skilled jobs being given (NOT TAKEN) to migrants since 1997. this is a few years after the EU fiasco began
from the 2nd article:
Quote:
“Even as our economy starts to pick up, and new jobs are created, there is a risk that young people in Britain won’t get the chances they deserve because businesses will continue to look elsewhere,” he will say.
risk doesn't equal certainty, chance doesn't equal certainty. by definition.
further, the article doesn't state "young British-born residents", it says young people in Britain. why do, presumably, British-born residents DESERVE a chance over anyone else?
oh wait, i'm sorry, no one actually made this quote, according to the article, as it has a future-tense verb. he WILL say. so it hasn't been said yet by that specific person the article is basing this on
of course business will look elsewhere. this is how modern industrialism generally functions. hire the person willing to work for the least amount. look at how many millions of jobs the USA outsourced over the last two decades. how many jobs does Britain outsource?

Guess what happens when the immigrant isn't there to compete for jobs? The native gets the position and gets paid more money, why is that such a difficult concept to understand?

Basically all of the tabloids who push these stupid propaganda and fear mongering headlines are owned by Rupert Murdoch - they are our versions of Fox news and whatnot.
The votes were swung by mainly an older generation scared, confused and a bit bigoted for the 'safety' of their grand childrens future ect and by fascist fuckers who have made their views more apparent since the since the Brexit win.
A member of Parliment was murdered last week - she was a woman who worked in charity for Oxfam, campained for refugees and migrants and for fairness all round. She was murdered by a fellow British white man in the name of Britain First a rascist sect.
As for the natives getting the jobs for more money - It's the majority of 'natives' sitting on the dole claiming all of the maximum child benefits and housing benefits and dole money they can get their hands on. If they bettered themselves in the first place to go and work then there would be no problem. You can't tarnish everybody who is not from this country a "scrounging, illegal immigrant". A lot are economic migrants, some are refugees and some are asylum seekers. If a country is going to offer great benefits wether you work or not in comparison to your shitty little shack in the middle of eastern europe or your war torn country getting hit by OUR bombs, that is not the immigrants fault, blame the government you voted in.
I have worked with people from all over the globe in the past twelve or so years and they are all hard working tax payers. A polish woman was a dishwasher for me, but she was a qualified maths teacher in Poland. The country did not pay teachers well at the time and she has been here for about six years washing dishes and cleaning, rents her own private flat, dosen't use food banks and pays for her own transport.
The immigrant card has been truly and officially played.
The UKIP and Tory parties have been outed for their public lies in the past couple of days, OUT voters did not even know what they were voting for. OUR GREAT COUNTRY, WE HAVE IT BACK! Yeah, the great country you have been living happily for for forty or more years. The union that has seen you benefit from many rights, workers rights. If you want your country back before the EU then happily take your outside toilets back that you share with neighbours, sharing one bath water with seven siblings and your boiled sheeps arseholes for dinner. Oh no wait! you're probably going to order a curry from the takeaway tonight for Sammy Mohammed, but he's ok coz he does a decent vindaloo.....
Basically from some mental laws, Scotland will push it all back around and we will be back in the EU with maybes a tiny difference in conditions. Tories tried to pull a fast one, hasn't worked.

it's not a difficult concept by any means. but what you are describing is isolationism verging on discrimination. while i'm not opposed to isolationism, that is not the circumstance, currently, with the "Brexit." it seems the more reasonable solution, if the desired result is to eliminate immigrants and immigrants participating in the labor force, would be to place an end to all immigration immediately. then, deport all undocumented immigrants. and finally, systematically deport any non-native British citizens
again, for shits and giggles, how many jobs has Britain outsourced?

The UK does NOT have to allow migrants and immigration into the country, that is a choice.
More workers relative to jobs lowers wages for EVERYONE, that also includes the skilled and educated, please explain to us WHY a UK citizen would choose that path for a lower standard of living? It makes NO sense.
This has nothing to do with newspapers or ignorance, the UK can govern themselves and the voters of the UK know this fact.
Do you have any evidence that the native population uses more tax money on a relative basis than the migrants in the UK?

"verging on discrimination"
Discriminating who does or does NOT enter one's country is the only rational stance a government can take with it's immigration policy.
The UK most likely outsourced millions of jobs out of their country, just like the US, EU, Japan, and others.
Citizens in those countries want to see globalization and immigration policies changes, Trump and this vote are perfect examples of that sentiment.

then the government is the one to blame. not the immigrants. don't be frustrated at people trying to do the best they can for themselves.
be frustrated, even angry, at the government which allows what you see as unfit to take place
to note: i wasn't thinking discrimination in the realm of which immigrants can come in. i certainly don't disagree with a heavy screening process and not in the name of terrorism or any bullshit like that. i was speaking in terms of job-discrimination

The government is 100% at fault, they allow these shitty trade agreements, they allow migrants to illegally enter their countries.
The migrants are only doing what rational people would do, moving to a nicer place for a higher standard of living.
The German people are not happy with Merkel, when the shit hits the fan one day, I hope she has her escape plan in place.

What's really funny is the high demand for a re-vote by the "younger generation". Hmmm.. What happened the first time? To lazy?
Was it only when things got "emotional" and every one was filled with "emotion" because they realized that being lazy and not voting does in fact make a difference but in a negative manner towards their desires?
Not saying that's how it was. I feel this is how Liberal people function over here in the US, they get emotional. It's when emotion is involved that "Shit gets real" for them.
By all mean's I'm not calling them all Liberals but from what I hear from other people I know in person, I hear a vast majority of the younger people there are.
If they all voted the first time, then it wont make a difference and why demand another voting session?
"Over 3 million UK residents signed a petition on Parliament's site demanding a second vote take place, the largest petition the government's website has ever seen. Parliament must debate any proposal with over 100,000 signatures."
