Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't they be off the wall? Around 1-1.5 feet? Also, why didn't you even out your sub? Any particular reason?

Your sub looks kinda thin. Expect short shrooms. Now that you are getting better airflow you might want to mist more to keep up. I just did a mono with a 3 inch sub and the edges turned yellow so I had to mist it 3 times a day. I misted until everything glistened and within a couple of hours the sub absorbed it. My point is that since you have a thin sub you may have to mist. If the sub doesnt have any water droplets or visible moisture you may need to mist.

That's not how it works. Some of my best subs were actually just under 2"

sounds like your monos weren't dialed in well, actually. The only tubs I'll mist once or twice a day are often thin subs of a penis variety.

Yeah this time I shortened the amount of sub I had so they'd colonize faster but I don't think the yield will be effected in anyway... The mushrooms that have pooped have been about general size.

spawn and ratio plays a bigger role than thickness does. Thinner subs dry out faster, but they can really be optimal IME. 1.75"-2.5"seems pretty perfect a lot of times.

2nd-3rd flush is when you'll usually see the bigger fruits. I run smaller subs too, so kenetic is right on the misting. You'll see an increase in the need to mist fairly soon in the first flush compared to a deeper sub level.

I understand that but I had to stretch materials out on this run so I couldn't really afford to. But the subs are about on average 1/75 to 2 on this run... Probably closer to 1/75 though.
just wish I could've cased my envy's on this run! Their gonna take... F O R E V E R

Oh it's PE? Should've really be cased, man. But it should be okay. Probably get a whole lot of blobs your first flush, for sure.

Blobs for sure(already got em'). But second flush should be golden. And I'll be making more sub tomorrow or next day more PE to birth, will be casing with jiffy mix or will any seed starter be okay? first time using any kind of seed starter.

Jiffy is basically peat and verm, if you find another starting mix with the same ingredients, it's fine to use.
