So I have a Samsung Galaxy s3. I've had it four at least four years. It is starting to kinda suck.
I want a new phone.
What is good?
I have heard the Oneplus 3 and the Galaxy s7 Edge are good. I am not going to buy an iPhone.
I want to hear your opinions on smartphones and which are good/the best

Just left the sprint store. I can't believe the prices of these gadgets. The galaxy 7s was like 698 or something crazy.
I opted for an old model, just like the new model.

Im pretty sure the Galaxy S7 is completely waterproof. I have an IPhone 6 and I like it fine. If I had money though I just might get that Galaxy

I've used HTC phones for the past 8 or so years and can't fault them at all. Absolutely perfect for what I use them for.

I will never get anything other than an apple phone. I've had a few phones completely broken. Screens destroyed, SIM card destroyed, headphones jack destroyed. I just walk in and thy give me a brand new phone for free. You just gotta get a little loud. Not crazy, it's just that they will be insanely busy and I'll end up in there queue for like an hour or more. Just make a small fuss and those little nerds are authorized to just give away the whole store to make someone happy.
Never seen a Samsung store or android store. I tried taking my phones into sprint, and they don't give a shit, and charge up the ass, and take literally days to fix anything.
I never gave a shit what phone I had until I got a brand new one for free from Apple.

Pretty sure they're slowly releasing updates that break features and cause slight issues on my Samsung Galaxy s6 so that you will upgrade.

I've had the HTC M8 & M9, great phones. I have the droid turbo 2 right now and i like it a lot of well. I can't really compare it to the HTC until I hit the on year mark with it.
@OP
Check out the HTC 10.

They forgot the mini ones. My iPhone and my kindle fire have become expensive porn machines. It's super hard to get a phone virus from porn .

If you get a phone that was a flagship model 18 months ago you'll save a shitload of coin and get an awesome phone. I just bought my wife an LG G3 for $250, the thing cost $700 last year, but now they want you to pay that for the latest one so heavily discount the last model. Well worth it

Nexus 6P from Huawei. It's awesome.
-------------------- "I have no way of knowing whether you, who eventually will read this record, like stories or not. If you do not, no doubt you have turned these pages without attention. I confess that I love them. Indeed, it often seems to me that of all the good things in the world, the only ones humanity can claim for itself are stories and music; the rest, mercy, beauty, sleep, clean water and hot food (as the Ascian would have said) are all the work of the Increate. Thus, stories are small things indeed in the scheme of the universe, but it is hard not to love best what is our own—hard for me, at least."

I have a first-gen Moto G from Motorola. Nice screen but my main complaint is they didn't include an SD card slot until a later model. It was about $200 at the time, would never spend more than that on a phone or get one on a contract. If it gets lost or broken then no big deal.

If I could find one of the vertically sliding phones with the slim profile (more tall than wide) I'd probably trade in my smartphone for one.

That was the best phone I ever had. The battery life was great, screen cracks weren't a thing, and the slide felt just right. I don't want to say smartphones are overrated, but old phones have merit still that is often overlooked.
