Rye getting wet in PC

So I made some rye using the RR ten.I poured the hot grain onto a large, old screen door. I agitated so that the moist berries in the center would be exposed tongue air and thus could have water evaport.
When all was said and done, the berries we're plump but appeared/felt dry. I dried off all my quart jars before loading.
I covered the lid real tight and covered them with aluminum foil.
I filled the PC up with water and PCd at 2.5 hr at 15 psi. I was sure to put a spacer on the bottom of the PC so the glass wouldn't contact the metal.
I shut off the PC and to my surprise, some grain berries looked significantly wetter than the others.
The only thing I could think of is maybe too much water in the PC (worried about it going dry).
Any help would be helpful!

Why are you PCing for 150 mins? I only do 90 mins and mines are turning out sweet. Did do a flash boil for 10 minutes after your 8hour+ soak? Did you let water steam off and come back every 5 minutes and mix berries so wetter ones are exposed? Did you do the paper towel test?

Yeah I did the flash boil. I let the berries steam off and mixer them every 5 min for 45 min.
They were dry visibly and to the touch. They did not have starches that caused them to stick. The berries we're quite homogeneous (I.e.they all looked and felt dry).
They passed the toilet paper test with flying colors.

Water must be getting into your jars. I fill my PC with water to about a 3rd up the jars and that is overkill. Try lowering the amount of water you are putting in. You could do a dry run and put minimal amount of water that would be needed and do a dry run for 90 or 120 mins. Then check water level after the cook. Then you know exactly the amount to put in. Try wrapping the foil tightly around the lip of the collar of the jar sort of tucking it up. That's what I done. What are you using as a filter?

The PC cycle turns your water into steam, making the jar look wet. It always clears up after a day IME.
As for the PC cycle, I do 2 hours instead of 90 minutes. Can't do anything but help IMO, especially since we are not really sterilizing our grains but merely opening a window of time for your mycelium to grow and outrun any bacteria remaining.

Not much help without a pic. I'm gonna guess that you might be thinking it's wetter than not. Usually after a pc cycle my jars have grains at the top that are significantly wetter. When you give em a shake you can redistribute the grains so as they will be a bit more uniform in moisture content.
