goodbye shroomery
    #2338217 - 02/15/04 06:48 PM (12 years, 9 months ago)

im moving to japan to pursue my animation career. i have some inerviews already set up, and ive decieded to go for it. this will be my last post here. i will miss this place very much, and all of you. probably sounds a bit lame...but over the years this place has been quite special to me. most of us have had similar, life changing experiences with mushrooms, and ourselves, and thats how most of us met here...and the company keeps us coming back. well, i just wanted to make this brief, so goodbye, all of you. i will miss you.

I wish you the best of luck in your new career! It's sad to see you go, but I'm glad that you've found something worth doing with your life

Cheers, eh!

You're here because you know something.
What you know you can't explain,
But you feel it;
You've felt it your entire life.
That there's something wrong with the world.
You don't know what it is, but it's there....
Like a splinter in your mind...
Driving you mad.

What, they don't have the internet in Japan?
I wish nothing but fortune for you.  Peace.

Yeah, eventualy you will come across the internet around Japan, i heard they are quite technologicaly advanced over there. When you do, drop us a post. Good luck in your career and have lots of fun making cool movies that we in America won't get to see in English untill 4-5 years after it's Japanese debut. Maybe you can animate my name hidden in one of your movies you know, like they animated SEX into "The Lion King". Or the penis in "The Little Mermaid"!!

You'll love it here...  and yes we do have good internet (Yahoo BB...  no cap and I get up to 900k/s).

Doesn't have to be goodbye, though.  There are a couple of Japanese members (myself and Mr Crisper that I know of) and another is always welcome.

PS. In reference to the last post...  A psycadelic shroom in Goldilocks and the Three Bears might be cool ("Who's been eating MY shrooms!")

you'll find yourself spending more time at the shroomery when you live in japan, it rains so much - bladerunner weather and net is fast'n'cheap.
plus there's some interesting things for sale in shibuya headshops.
good luck with the job!
here's some of japan's finest

Has anybody ever seen that Most Extreme Elimination Challenge on SpikeTV?
