Marijuana makes my brain make coincidental conections

Hello everyone,
so last night i smoked a joint and was watching a show and a segment on that show really seemed to connect to my subconscious in a way that, in my head at the time was way to coincidental to be coincidence if that makes sence and must be a message from the beings i have met when i dropped lsd about 2 months ago. This is a repeated occurrence and every time i seem to smoke week these somewhat illogical conclusions are links are made in my head and it can become quite fear inducing sometimes. Marijuana also makes me think the same way that lsd does now so you can imagine the extent of my thoughts when this happens. Does anyone else have an experience with this problem or could possibly help me solve it? once i wake up in the morning and watch it again it just doesnt have that same connection at all. thanks!

Onset of madness my friend, lay off the weed, get some fresh air and sunlight, do some exercise, talk to some real people and repeat.

We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter.” ― Max Planck

It sounds like smoking cannabis is leading to you having delusional beliefs. Stop doing drugs for a while -- possibly a long while.

That's what happened to me and I ended up in a psychiatric hospital. I would recommend that you stop smoking weed.

Did you focus on it to much instead of moving on and carrying on with life?
Getting obsessed over ideas seems common with psyches and some people cant get over this idea.
Im very curious to know more about how marijuana has affevted you this way personally, care to PM me @healing

I guess I've been mad for awhile than
I think you're fine buddy, just have a low tolerance to weed and after your LSD use it may alter how you perceive things permanently, even if its not noticable when your sober - especially when high it will be, that and weed highs change for some people after LSD use. I don't understand these comments saying you're gonna end up in a ward, pondering and playing with these type of delusioned thoughts is one of my favorite things about psychedelics, and it seems to be true you are aware they are not "normal" thoughts outside of the daily sober life, but one can only speculate the meaning of what we feel and think.
"Crazy" is just a mindstate outside of societies "norm" crazy thoughts are good thoughts. The barrier comes when how open you keep your mind to this information, if you're fully committing and believing all thoughts or beliefs without first proving them true to your self or just keeping them for speculation and to ponder on. You know how you feel, do what feels right.
In the end reality is all an illusion of our mind anyway, we're just dreaming - what you think is what you become - all I ask is to be aware.
I think a better word for what you're experiencing is synchronicity.
"Jung believed that such demonstrations of synchronicity meant that a person had tapped into the collective unconscious, a universal knowledge beyond our everyday awareness that is shared by everyone. Artists draw from this stream of inspiration all the time."

I actually quite enjoyed a lot of the delusional thoughts I had when I was psychotic, but delusional thoughts aren't always good and you can't always control it. But the bad delusional thought by far outweigh the good delusional thoughts. Like it's pretty cool to feel like you directed one of your favorite movies, but feeling that way isn't worth watching yourself murder your entire family with an axe.
In the end, as a general rule, it's not good for you to be delusional, whether your delusions are positive or not. While there are some amazing highs to be had, In general, it's much better to have a firm grasp on reality. People take it for granted all the time, but it's not fun being unable to tell what's real and what's not. If you could avoid it, I would say avoid it, even though you might be missing out on an interesting thought or two.

Well said. I also believe delusions aren't a "bad" thing necesarrily, but they can become bad if you act on them, and or are having negative delusions - otherwise I think OP may be more referring to synchronicity which is basically a positive delusion, and may have hidden meaning unperceived by any emotion or thought.

In my opinion I don't know what "crazy" means, it holds its own subjective perspective and meaning to each person, to me crazy lies within the barrier between thought and action, as soon as you cross that path of acting on your delusions, turning drug induced thoughts into reality, into physicality and belief is when you will truly appear "crazy" and crazy is not always negative, crazy is only negative to those who minds are closed, open minds are accepting of all thoughts and belief as perspective, crazy is someone acting out of a structured system, there's nothing weird about it besides the fact its uncommon to you.
Crazy thoughts create crazy ideas, most of the technology and corporations around were sparked from a "crazy" drug induced thought.
It becomes negative when you try to express beliefs and are putting time into delusions you can't prove true, for those you keep in your heart and soul as they only benefit your reality, as no one can understand the way you have. It becomes negative when you start affecting anothers life negatively.

The subjectivity of words is obvious
Quote:
Albert Einstein is widely credited with saying “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results”. It really doesn't matter that there's absolutely no evidence that Einstein actually made this statement; it's still a great quote!

Thats typically what i go by but at an attempt to understand others and communicate properly i try to read the context in how they define it so i can figure out how crazy they are

There is definitely a spectrum of sanity, yeah. Some people are more sane than others. I was so psychotic that I had become a danger to myself and the people around me. I was living in multiple realities at the same time, and my perception of consensus reality was so warped that my sober state was about as fucked up as a normal person's moderate trips. It was dangerous for me to drive a car because I could become distracted by the violent acts that were occurring in one of my alternate realities.
Sometimes I couldn't tell which reality was consensus reality, so I couldn't tell if I was actually methodically murdering people, or lying flat on the ground with my fingers digging into the carpet trying to will my alternate reality self to stop and hoping that the reality in which I was lying down would outlast the reality in which I saw the contents of my friend's skull.
I don't think most people have ever experienced anything like that, even people who trip out. Most people are stuck in consensus reality. Trippers sometimes go to alternate realities, but I would guess that very few of them experience multiple consistent realties at the same time, and none of them experience something like that for as long as I did, as it occurred 24/7, even in my dreams which were completely indistinguishable from my waking life, for a little over a year.

It could just be your reaction to weed. It could be that you have an underlying mental illness. Either way I would say that you should just stop, or at least take a very long break.

It could just be you got problems your not dealing with properly.
What your describing sounds to me like how i thought when i was younger.
I remember sitting in class thinking about how like what if im not in the real realiry and in the real one things are more crazy then i wondered if that was the real reality and mine wasnt real. But i never got/get hung up on ideas or delusions for long
But i also believe that we just live in the infinite and everything is possible so why get hung up on one or two things

I think it would be safe to say the ones that visited a ward is probably because of drug abuse, not just delusioned thoughts, you can experience synchronicity on your first trip, to reach the point of being psychotic is really rare with regulated use.

Wtf. This shit is completely normal man. People on here are overreacting. It just means you have to change your relationship with cannabis.
