Poppies are ready, so exciting! 2

As some of you remember, I started an indoor poppy grow early this year which I cancelled after a while because the time I needed to invest didn't seem to be reasonable for the small harvest that was to expect. Then in early Febuary I started throwing shitloads of seeds in nearby areas. One of you said then "if you don't prepare the soil at least a bit, you won't get any poppies. And he was right. Fortunately I also threw some seeds on some more loose soil and now there's growing a lot!!
Here I have some pics I took about a week ago. The quality is not the best, but I think it's still good enough to get a little impression:

That's what the pods looked like a week ago. Meanwhile they're much bigger:

I was following your original thread, really glad to see you tried your hand at an outdoor operation! Those are some mighty fine looking flowers.

Here's an impression of the yield from around 50 pods. The small ball is from the first time lancing and the fresh wet stuff is from lancing the pods a second time. (The BIC is one of those small ones) I estimate the pods I have at a total of 120, but some aren't ready yet and 20-30 are very tiny and don't produce much stuff.

Final product after lancing 3 times. I have no exact scale, but it's surely more than 1 gram. It's uncooked because it didn't seem to be a proper amount for a cooking process. The next few days I'll go pick those poppy pods and make an opium tincture from it and then this years poppy season is over for me.
