Immortality. A blessing or a curse?
    #23380802 - 06/25/16 01:05 PM (7 years, 8 months ago)

The inability to die from anything, not even your own hand. You simply exist in a world where everything has an expiration date. Every friend you will have or people you will love will always end up dying and leaving you alone. Fear of anything becomes a ridiculous concept to you, you cannot be harmed after all so what is there left to fear? Of course you have to keep your secret a secret otherwise they will capture you and you will become their lab rat. You have t be on the move so that people don't realize that you do not age.

After a while time become a blur, years, decades and century go by in a heartbeat. The lives of others lose their worth because you know the inevitable. You cannot be caught or sentenced to prison for long periods of time otherwise your secret will be known. Every accident you will have your bring attention to you because your survival will always be miraculous in the eyes of medicine.

Is this a blessing or a curse? To live eternally. To see history repeat itself over and over by new generations that have learned nothing from the previous ones. To forever be left alone in grief only to realize it will happen over and over again until you feel nothing at all...

Probably a curse cus you gotta die to get reborn in all the other life existences, so by not dying as human you're missing out.

Why not let people find out? You'd be a living god in no time

Its the worst curse I can imagine, theres only so much you can do in this universe. The limitations it places on you are very real, and it itself is programmed for death from what we can ascertain. To watch the eons pass you by and be left in the darkness of a void for an eternity. I couldnt imagine a worse fate.

Curse for sure. I think the average human's life is just about right. I'm not sure I'd want to be around much longer than that. Shit would just get so repetitive and dull. Not to mention being immortal in a world full of mortals.

STAL.

When you die then what..? Nothing. I don't get when people talk about all this reincarnation shit or how life is only the beginning.

It would be great if suicide was an option. If you had no way out, it would be horrendous.

So you'd live beyond the end of the earth? Like what happens when the sun burns out and stuff? You just float in space? Fuck that. Otherwise it'd be cool.

My Psychedelic experiences:
LSD - 30+ times (2 hits min / max 3 hits) every time.
Shrooms - 4 times (2.5 - 3.5g)
DMT - 5 times (Powerful breakthrough only once)

Life can be one hell of a bitter pill to swallow so I chose acid instead -YeOlde

The most evil curse possible. Not to say I wouldn't indulge. I do things that are bad for me all the time.

I think I'd rather die tomorrow than live forever. It would get so boring. Think about it, when you're a kid, everything is fun or interesting and the older you get, the more work you have to put into entertaining yourself. Imagine 500 or 1000 years down the line how hard it would be to find anything at all to do that wasn't boring and entirely uninspiring.

Imagine how bitter and cold of a person you'd become after dozens or hundreds of normal life spans worth of pain, suffering and loss. Why bother trying to find love when you know you'll just live to watch it disappear in the blink of an eye. The older you get the faster time seems to go by and there's a reason for that. Imagine that effect after 500 years. You'd fall in love and what feels like one week to you now later, you'd be watching her wither and die. Destined to forever be alone.

Fuck all that.

--------------------
With my face against the floor I can’t see who knocked me out of the way.
I don’t want to get back up but I have to so it might as well be today.
Nothing appeals to me no one feels like me, I’m too busy being calm to disappear.
I’m in no shape to be alone contrary to the shit that you might hear.

You can't wake up, this is not a dream. You're part of a machine, you are not a human being
With your face all made up, living on a screen. Low on self esteem, so you run on gasoline
