All knowledge of value is now accessible...
Has this profoundly changed what it means to be human?
I'd post this in the other forum but I don't want to have to debate my premise

No, it just shows how close minded people actually are.

an amount of information so much vaster than the Great library of Alexandria, all at your fingertips. . .
yes, it is quite significant
one conception of reality is like a (infinte) library of information, and. . sort of a witness,, i dk i can' really eloquently describe it, any more than that, but i love that view of it, and sometimes feel transcendence is most beautifully expressed through it.
but of course music and dancing. . . is

The material world is constantly manifesting the spiritual counterparts. It is the equivalent of putting concepts of the mind onto canvas through the passage of time.
Sometimes we'll witness subtle repeats in the paint (reminants of old paint on the brush) and a zeitgeist will manifest things of past suddenly. Beards and vinyl records springing into the consciousness and rendering in society, being an example, or sudden flourish of art noveue.
The Internet is the icon for what we already have. We've always had access to infinite amounts of information through proper use of our own minds. The fact that the Internet evolved to wifi access is symbolic that the mind is connected to information in spirit I.e without a literal physical connection.
The Internet, being accessible to all (potentially) demonstrates that the same hub of information is a singular. All information is but one thought. Our 'learning' is simply remembering. There's spiritual signposts rendering every day in the world for us to acknowledge in event and objects.
You, yourself have rendered every peice of information that exists. You just done it through the state of fragmentation (many people) and the scattered stars in the sky are symbolic of this too.
The Internet is an astronomical rendering with huge significance. It is, quite literally, a second Renaissance. It's not to be treated as a separate entity though, since it's just a manifestation of an aspect pertaining to yourself. Your very essence is stamping it's impression daily into your perceived world.
Technolology isn't just a product of the mind. It is the material manifestation of what the mind actually is, thus, the Internet hasn't changed what it is to be human. It's just showing you what you are.

The control grid tightens around our neck, and while knowledge is power those with the power AND the knowledge that have their debt slaves and social media slaves and just so much INFORMATION about everyone will eventually be making things more controlled. Zuckerberg sugar mountain Rockefellers baby is already censoring those pesky topics that FB thinks unworthy. Charitable works with no explanation enjoy the tax breaks while breaking the privacy of virtually every debt slave on the planet too stupid to sign up.
Overall it's a bad idea.

As the environment collapses, which it is, and in spite of everyone "cooperating" all I see is divide and conquer. The advancement is a delusion, as are those who don't realize we are in a great extinction event. It's a trap, but it won't matter soon as we end up like Venezuela shooting dogs for food.
Raving packs of fucking dogs. At least a dog would never light a fellow dog on fire by dousing him with gasoline for a crummy bag of rice.
Just wait, your internet will be a thing of history other than censored, and controlled and a thing to punish you.
Fuck.

You don't see any possibility that it could go another way? I feel like humans still have the strengh to stand up and work for positive change within the system
What I really mean is that, this whole gross system could dissolve and collapse at any moment. Things move faster now.. empires rising and falling within months instead of decades.
