Feeling grateful for the existence of Marijuana * 1
    #23380076 - 06/25/16 08:58 AM (8 years, 2 months ago)

Has anyone else ever felt that? This plant is just so damn good. Never in the 4 1/2 years of daily meditation I did before returning to weed have I become as close to the spirit as I do when high.

It's just so much easier to enjoy, forgive, laugh, accept etc etc etc when you're blazed

I just can not see myself making it through the rest of my existence without it, not unless there was a return to primitive living and no one had time to develop their ego. Because it's all the overlapping egos in a city that makes it so relieving to get lit. Also, there are countless lost souls of slaughtered natives in my country (America) and I think they ignore you if you get stoned.

Feels acceptable, bros :highdog:

If I didn't smoke weed then I'd have to live in a society that resembles Tolkien's Elves (who may have been based on Native Americans).

Very in the moment people and I think Tolkien was unconsciously expressing the superior health that comes with a close connection with the Earth which supposedly still manifests in primitive people with intact tradition... except not to the degree of an Elf that lives 1,000 years and can see past the horizon use telepathy etc.. that shit is made up

I have it on good word that at a certain level of health that requires 2 hours of daily exercise your saliva begins to produce antibodies... is that cool or what?

I have mixed feelings towards marijuana. I abused it heavily while still a teenager and because I was already a super anxious person, it caused me major anxiety problems which ended up with doctors scripting me benzos which turned out to be the worst thing ever.

however later in my late 20s i started smoking it again and no longer had anxiety problems from it. it both parts of my life, it steered me toward living a healthier more spiritual life, only the first time the anxiety outweighed all the good effects and lead to ill health.

these days i have given up habitual use and only use it after my trips. I find it utterly amazing in this regard. when I smoke the day after the trip, it brings back all the revelations I experienced and helps me understand what they mean and how to integrate them. i actually believe this is one of its intended uses, like ayahuasca it teaches us how to understand the messages from other plants.

for example i used to combine with kava a lot and it would make the kava experience so much more revelatory.

I think I may have to do a major consumption of massive quantities of coco butter coming up and soon.  That shit is so good I blaze too much and eat too little.  Put that shit in your coffee in the morning the coco butter and you'll feel some relief.  Wake and bake indeed.

Most of the people on here take everything but weed, I can't believe this site nobody can handle serious herb.  They need to man up and burn but they are all anxious.  LOL.  Man up and dose and you're worries will be left far behind.  The key is to develop tolerance.  That and letting go and away from the knuckleheads with all their bullshit problems.

I DON'T CARE about your texting your GF your BFF who the fuck you want for president.  Then to bring up what's going on for reals and get their bullshit shaming over "conspiracy theories" suck my nuts losers.  It's unreal.  Then even legal nobody burns during the day hey take a break burn some we'll talk, no they would rather stress out.

Peace out.

Just so glad it's legal, and interesting how the local economy and some of the conservative knuckleheads have given up and embraced the tourism.  I mean fuck they made most of the property federal gorge commission so can never be built on or without a hassle.  Yet the church going straight laced right wingers used to fight the porn shop FFS.  Not In Our Town.  Well now we got a fuckin' weed shop right on the main drag.

Now it's legal!

I smash back the weed on a daily basis, high-THC Northern Lights and the odd bit of Bubblegum ftw.

I enjoy research chemicals but if I could only have one drug for the rest of my life it would be weed, easily, without hesitation.

However, I was anxious when I started smoking weed. This was because weed brings you face to face with your true self and I wasn't ready to handle it. Weed is POWERFUL, it's not really a plaything for teenagers.

Now I just feel all good on it because I am at peace.

I remember during my extremely overwhelming first trip on psychedelics (LSD), at a music festival last year in August, this tremendous revelation I had concerning weed. As reality warped into "the ultimate dimension" I found myself at this strange eternal party/celebration - the great victory of existence. I was "god" and was reunited with all the other "gods" in some timeless sphere of crispy clean ecstasy.

Weed was the "drug" of choice among the gods. Perhaps everyone was just blazed as fuck. But I remembered remembering it in that moment, which was pretty weird. The "revelation" was pretty significant at the moment...

Remembered remembering - remembering it last night while high as fuck again.

Anyway, perhaps all I've said and seen and thought during the trip is bullshit, but I agree. It's the best damn thing in existence.

Yeah, LE. I was just off it for 6 years. I didn't know how to keep my shit in check before.

The cocobutter will fill you up but not kill your high or what?

I first had this feeling when I was about 14 and was developing schizophrenia (such feelings are the 'good bit' of schizophrenia). Sometimes it felt like there was this big carnival going on, even if it was just an everyday day at high school.

I asked people about it and they said "it sounds like when you smoke cannabis", and when I did smoke some cannabis it turned out to be really similar.

It seems to me that every time you see through the illusion, for whatever reason, the natural reaction is laughter and ecstasy.

Weed is my favorite. Although I haven't tripped psychedelics all that much, 4 trips in all on classic hallucinogens.

Used to get mad anxiety on it but I blazed every day anyway cuz it's just entertaining and always revelatory getting high.

Don't get anxiety from it anymore, just feel great, great for my meditation/tai chi practice. I can also finally sit and stare and go over thoughts with a positive spin on them. Even if it's negative thoughts, while high, it's always constructive. Weed always feels that way. Also, I smoke tobacco and it makes that much much more enjoyable.

Unfortunately I only get to smoke about once a month these days. My only problem with weed is if I have it, I will definitely smoke it too much. There is such thing as smoking too much sadly.

Without weed I would definitely have to be a hermit in the woods for sure. I get terrible vibes from society especially when I'm sober. If I go up north and I'm away from people I really find that I don't need it though

I love bud, it just feels so damn good when you're sober and you exhale that first huge hit, and instantly feel that shift and your whole body and soul smiles!!

It's interesting to think that people say they have better ideas on weed, yet whoever the beings are who invented weed couldn't have possibly come up with the idea while stoned on weed.  Trip out on that....

and now trip out on this...

Getting high for 30 + years helped me avoid a lot of what I didn't wanted to deal with.

I was grateful for weed until I realized recently it was an escape.

And numbed me and made me dumb.

Do you condemn marijuana smoking now or is that just your own personal opinion? Just curious. I think every smoker smokes for a different reason

I don't condemn anyone for smoking weed. I'm just relating my experience.

I will say that for 20+ years I credited weed and meth for saving my life.

Seriously. I had concluded weed and meth helped cure my mental illness.

I think weed helped me with depression a lot for a while. It didn't cure it but it kept it at bay. Psychs definitely "cured" my depression though.
Weeds more recreational for me now, it's like a creativity booster. I definitely appreciate the hell out of its existence.

I've suffered with depression, and yes, weed seems to help reduce negative thinking and self-loathing.

I found when I wasn't high, life was extra difficult, as I was constantly in a trance, waiting and excited to get stoned.
