King Oyster capless 'lumps'

This year I've been getting a lot of lumps which don't really resemble a king oyster mushrooms grow. Sometimes They resemble a mushroom minus the caps. Its like they pin, and then get really fat and just look like lumps of mushroom matter. Its dense like a mushroom and not soft/easy to break like mycelium. Anyone know why this occurs?
It may grow a few king oysters or the second flush comes out ok so I dont think its contamination.
Here is a pic

Also, any tips to get them to fruit on the top and not on the side next to the bag?

Looks like primordia about to pin to me. - and they will pin where the conditions are best- which is why you try to dial in your FC to be perfect. Looks good to me so far though! Keep us updated!

Humidity and surface evaporation. Notice how its closest to the bag all around. And where the bag has folded over slightly, holding in more humidity.
I suggest medium FAE high humidity untill full cap formation. Mist and use another bag with holes to cover it.
When ready, remove the bag and mist.

Forgot to say oyster can produce tubers, which are capless lumps of mycelium. Nothing to worry about, species fruiting genetic.

First off, way too wet! Eryngii needs to pin and form those lumps inside the sealed bag for 1 week before putting into fruiting, also they need 50-60 degree temps to initiate the pinning. All of the sitting water does not work well for them at all, in fact Kings are plagued with blotch in wet conditions. Personally I have RH set at 80-85% and do zero misting, I only mist blocks getting ready for a second flush, but barely.
Also is it a proven fruiting strain? What are your temps at?

oh, and to get them to fruit from the top and not near the sides, you need to open up the bags after incubation and wipe all of the side wall myc off and then reseal the bags and then put them into 50-60 degree temps to innitiate pinning.

I still find it interesting Eryngii suffers so much from over hydration. I need to look into that. Never tried Eryngii.
Noted your data.

Yeah, if you go reading into Erygii and blotch, you will get super paranoid, It seems after an outbreak a farmer ussually has to switch species because it wont go away. I got super paranoid about it, but after I started taking actions to not get blotch, my grows got so much better.

Thanks everyone. I reduced misting and it seems to be going much better. I have been misting blocks which have flushed previously once a day and new blocks once every couple of days.
